Before going, I looked at the menu online. Honestly, after seeing the prices, I thought the portions must be very small considering that their sushi cost less than at a grocery store. (I was wrong.) After reading the recent reviews, however, I decided to give it a try. I am certainly glad I did. Two people, 3 extremely fresh sushi rolls, delicious crab rangoon, the best gyoza I have found since I left Dallas 30 years ago, and one hibachi chicken (which I was too full to taste) -- all for under $40 including tax. I'm sure that because you order at a counter and self-serve drinks like at McDonald's, the owners' expenses are reduced; unlike corporations, Poke River passes the savings on to the customer. I just left the restaurant and I'm already trying to determine when I can go back. Great food. Great prices. Great experience.

I ordered a poke bowl I put together myself and it was absolutely great. For my protein I got tempura shrimp and it was freshly fried for my bowl and the service and price was fantastic for how much food was in the bowl. I also ordered a Thai Tea with Tapioca pearls and it was very good. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I both got the chicken ramen. It was delicious. Spicy oil they bring is pretty good too. I like spicy and i poured half of the oil and it was enough. The broth was amazing!Also got the crab rangoon and a sushi roll. Sushi roll was crisp and delicious. Crab rangoon was good too but nothing special.Place needs to be filled up with booths on the wall side and tables in the middle in my opinion.Prices were very affordable. We will definitely be back! Delicious food!

This store really lives up to its reputation! It is not a deserved reputation to have such a high rating. The ingredients focus on freshness! The finest seafood and meat, carefully brewed broth and smooth and firm noodles make up bowls of ramen that touch your taste buds. The original flavor of the seafood and the richness of the soup will leave you full of praise and endless aftertaste. Sushi is great and well priced. I had theSpicy tuna crunch roll and the spicy crab roll. I was a pig and I also tried the beef ramen. It was a bit bland for me but still pretty good.The restaurant has a kind of odd layout.The service was great and every one was very friendly.
