“This is called Pozole Rojo. Pozole is a Traditional Mexican celebratory soup that mostly gets made during birthdays, holidays, ect. It was created by the ancient Aztecs in Mexico and has gotten better since. No more sacrificing to the Gods. The broth is the best part. Growing up in LA this was a special meal and you would get super excited to hear there was going to be Pozole at your friends place for thanksgiving. I decided to check out Nachos Grill on South Green River Road. (under new management). I haven’t been to that restaurant since it was still La Cabana. The outside needs cleaned and updated but the inside of the restaurant was new and very clean. Service was also great since I was the only one there. Lol. The Pozole was delicious… flavorful and how I had it back home in Los Angeles. I can image their tacos and tortas are just as good too. Super rich and delicious… great for hangovers. Pozole is a hominy stew. This particular one is pork butt or shoulder. Ancho chilly peppers are blended with garlic and lime and a whole bunch of spices and things. Base is chicken broth most of the time. Not spicy but you can always add more heat. Literally one of the greatest soups you’ll ever taste. I always squeeze a few lemons into my bowl. Then you have your side garnishes to put in the soup. Chopped onions, cilantro, sliced radish, pico de gallo, limes, avocado, chopped lettuce or cabbage. Most of the time you eat this with a tostada. You dip it… put all the fun things on the tostada shell then what ever falls into the soap you eat that too. You can also use grilled tortilla’s and tortilla chips. I make my own Pozole from home for holidays but sometimes you don’t wanna cook 6+ hours. Lol. I give their Pozole a 10/10. Also I prefer my salsa chunky as it should be… added pico de gallo to my salsa. Give them a try. -The Taco Snob“

“I have been to this restaurant at least 50 times since it opened. It is definitely the best seafood restaurant in the area. After all of my meals the only thing that I would change is the spinich. The staff should go next door to Biaggi's and replicate their spinich which is awesome. Bonefish is my wife's favorite Evansville restaurant.“

“Our very first visit here... This is part of Bally's Casino in Evansville, Indiana so it would not be fare to compare to places we have dined at in Las Vegas at casinos. We made reservations in advance and were seated right away upon our arrival. The staff was very polite and professional. Our table was by the window with a river view. The restaurant was nicely dimmed and the atmosphere was one of fine dining. The singing piano player in the bar area was an unexpected surprise and was very enjoyable. We started our meal with a couple of appetizers, my wife had the French Onion Soup and found it tasty. I had the Tuna Poke, it was ok but can't say I would order it again. For our dinner my wife had the Prime Rib (which comes by itself). I had a chef feature the Blackened Redfish over Corn salsa. We split an order of Augratan Potatoes. Wifey loved the Prime Rib and she knows her prime rib!!! The Potatoes were a hit!!! The fish was good but would have been helped with a little more blackening and some more viscous sauce. The bread accompanying the meal was fresh but does not come warm to the table. A nice touch was the fresh roasted garlic that comes with the butter. The meal was very enjoyable and filling, service as great! Only reason I don't do five stars is I save that for places that go above and beyond. Dinner for 2 was about $150. We felt that was a fare price for what we received. Nice stop for a weekend getaway dinner.“

“I came with a ladies group on Friday this last week. The food was great and I noticed right away how the manager Everett was keeping calm even in a rush. He made sure our order was right. Later when my Mom thought she threw away an expensive item he supplied me with gloves and even came out to help Me go through the trash! Never have I had such care from a fast food place. I’ll be back!!“

“Kylie was an amazing waitress she never let our drinks below half she kept checking on us and was incredibly patient when we couldn't decide what we wanted! The food was fantastic ? my grandmother had never been to a red lobster so I had to take her and she was very impressed and when we got in the car she said "when we coming back" thanks again“
