“Azzip is an absolute family favorite. So much so that we now eat it every Sunday as tradition. Every aspect about this company is family friendly from food, car pick up, coloring sheets, and curtious staff. My son is begging to have his birthday here this year with his friends. ? My only recommendation is to provide bigger water cups- us water drinkers like to drink a lot also. ?“

“Just left from here and I was very pleased with everything top to bottom!Yes, it is an old school dive style diner with fantastic prices! Especially for this day and age. You can eat here for less than a meal at McDonald's. You can tell it's a locals spot with multiple regulars. As others have mentioned, regulars have coffee cups with their names on them. Unique and fun!The waitress was quick to seat me and take my order. Very simple no frills approach and I appreciate that. You get realness from people in these environments and not some corporate script.Food came out very timely given how many people were there. I enjoyed everything on my plate and it did taste more home style than most diners I've been. Big plus! My only preference would have been crispy vs chewy bacon. I probably could have requested it but not a deal breaker. It still has good flavor I just prefer crispy. The smoked chop had good flavor along with the eggs, potatoes and biscuit.Parking is limited but you'd expect it. It's literally in a neighborhood and across a small street to Garvin park. I would highly recommend it. It's inexpensive, laid back, friendly good cooking. One side note, prices on the menu is cash. They do charge a small convenience fee for cards. I was pleasantly surprised they had this notice posted on the doors and register . Some places just wait until you pay to say anything. I respect it here at the prices they charge I did not mind the extra .38.“

“I just stopped by FD to pick up a order of vegetable soup for my elderly mother. Who recently fell and broke her wrist. The very nice lady at the register gave me the soup for free. That was so nice. I cried all the way home. THANK YOU SO MUCH!“

“We just ate our carry out order from the Bandanas in Evansville. We've eaten at all of their locations at least once. It's my pleasure to say this location is without a doubt THE BEST of all of the locations. The next time we are in the area and want bar b que, we'll be by for more for sure.“

“Stopped in for breakfast on the spur of the moment at Merry Go Round yesterday and found this to be a very nice establishment! Got the Breakfast Special which was eggs cooked any way you want, a choice of bacon or sausage, any bread you choose, plus a glass of OJ, all for under $7. They had plenty more early morning choices as well. Service was excellent and friendly, bathroom was spotless, and food arrived quickly. Nothing but nice things to say about this place!“

“I have been going here since right after they opened(30yrs) since I worked down the street. Enjoyed talking with Dan at lunch. Was said to see him go. Whenever I get a craving for Chinese this is the only place I will go to. They are fantastic. Can’t say enough abt the food. Way to go Karen and Eddie!!!!“
“Took a work colleague here who was visiting from out of town. He is a huge bourbon collector (over 400 bottles in his collection) and was very impressed with the big collection here! There were several bottles he had never seen in person and he enjoyed trying some. Definitely recommend this place if you are a bourbon &/or cigar fan! Great atmosphere and service too!!“

“I have eaten at the Kite and Key for breakfast a couple of times before and everything was wonderful, but this time I tried lunch, and not so wonderful. I was there early, 11:20. I had a chef salad which wasn't bad but not nearly as big as I expected. The menu said, " too many desserts to list", or something to that effect. I asked the waitress what kind of desserts they had. She said only muffins and cinnamon rolls. I chose the cinnamon roll, which looked delicious, as it was covered in nice warm icing. But the roll must have been very stale, because even after warming, I had a hard time cutting it with my knife. The waitress was not very attentive in warming up my coffee. I had to ask the first time, and she never came back to ask me again. The price was very reasonable, but I was disappointed.“

“Always a fun and welcoming atmosphere. John and company are a vital part of our underground music scene and have provided a safe and fun place for people of all ages to go and enjoy local and touring acts. On top of that, their selection of beers and food is always top notch. This review isn’t for necessarily “one experience” but more so a thank you and show of respect for the last nearly 2 years. Thank you Damsels for allowing us to have a place in the city to safely come to and enjoy ourselves. I love riffing at this bar and will gladly do so until I can’t riff no more.“

“I rarely just love a mostly burger restaurant! I AM OBSESSED when I have an opportunity to eat here- about once a week. I am so excited when the office has this restaurant. But, I've gone twice to enjoy the atmosphere! Amazing location in the old Greyhound Station! I love sitting outside. Apparently, you can't go wrong with any burger, but the Provencal? Holy cow! The fries are gluten free. Gluten free buns or lettuce wrap or bed available! Homemade ketchup!!! Seriously, I have a Bru Burger addiction. I'm kind of a burger snob... homemade and grilled to perfection. But, this restaurant? It's fantastic! It's fun! Excellent, polite serve. Clean. Thank you!!! The pictures are two visits combined. Delicioso!!! ?“

“You ever get in the mood for something different. This is the place to break the routine.Being of partial German decent, I highly value good homemade food from the region, and atmosphere to enhance enjoyment. Gerst Haus rocks! This is a German Bar, some 20 to 30 beverages on tap. Wide variety of local brews, German brew, and my favorite, stouts. Was actually difficult choosing my stout, they had so many.Service was great, friendly, and helpful for our visit. Plenty of seating, booths and tables, not to mention the full-length bar.We had ham balls as our appetizers, tasted OK, but no our cup of tea... We had beef stroganoff, it was delicious and hit the spot, noodles ? ? smothered in gray, chunks of tender roast beef, and bake mushrooms ? ? in perfect balance. Came with garlic toast which helped get every bit of the gravy off the bowl. The place is charming with hardwood detail, German art, flags, craftsmanship and engineering simplicity ? it felt like being there.Parking: We were able to park right in front, but I would expect that is rare. Many restaurants on this street, so parking is tight.“

“I have been to this restaurant at least 50 times since it opened. It is definitely the best seafood restaurant in the area. After all of my meals the only thing that I would change is the spinich. The staff should go next door to Biaggi's and replicate their spinich which is awesome. Bonefish is my wife's favorite Evansville restaurant.“

“Hickory Pit Stop is one of my favorite spots in town for BBQ. And it's the only place in Evansville that you can get mutton! The restaurant is always clean and even though it's very casual and laid back it's a great place for a business meeting or to get together with friends for a beer. Their ribs, chicken, pulled pork etc is always excellent - the trophies on the walls attest to that. Don't miss their burgoo either. They are in the 4th generation of the Ellison family running the business (currently Cameron), and have been serving some of the greatest BBQ in the Tri-State area since 1957. They use real hickory wood in their smokers and BBQ on what is probably the only original brick pit left in operation in Southern Indiana. Highly recommended!“

“Popped into doc's with some friends to watch the IU game and get dinner. We opted for the pizza. It was the typical bar pizza. Our friends ordered the burger which looked awesome and he said was very tasty. His wife ordered the Stromboli which also looked very good. The guys opted for a bucket of beer while the ladies ordered mixed drinks. All in all we enjoyed the establishment plenty of seating, lots of tvs, pool tables and a great crowd atmosphere. We will be back“

“Personal Crab Rangoon Rating: 9/10Perfect crunch, perfect filling to dough ratio! The filling on this one is also not too sweet but not overwhelmingly savory, it's just perfect to me. I think sometimes other places also make the filling a little too liquid-y but not this place! I will say though, they don't have that traditional rangoon shape, but honestly I don't mind with how good they taste, it's completely fine if they're a little wonky in my opinion. You get 6 crab rangoons for only $3.15! Best deal in town if you ask me~ I highly recommend you try this place out at least once, you'll be sad to miss out on such a life changing crab experience! Check my other reviews for more crab rangoon recommendations~!“
