“This place is a gem, don’t let location fool you.We have been coming here for almost 6 years since moving from California.We’re a bit particular of good food, and every time we dine in here it feels as though the Mimo family cooks just for us.We have our go-tos.Hubby likes the Tomato Basil Pasta. My go to is the Seafood linguini.I personally also think they have the best calamari ever. It’s light. Not overly breaded or greasy.The marinara here is delish, I’ve heard three people tell me they could drink it by the jug >_<Portions are sufficient for one, not family style to share and have all these leftovers, which I personally like.Having worked in a New York-style Pizzeria for approximately 4 years myself, I do opine that their pizza here (at least cheese and cheese + pep options) are 10/10.Prices are also very fair.If you like a clean portion of Italian fare locally, (we’ve tried all the other options around)… we highly recommend Mimo’s.“

“I Had the Carbonara, it was good and I would recommend it to anyone that likes pasta and Italian food. I Cleaned my plate. Service was great. If you don’t appreciate more authentic Italian food, don’t eat here. All the bad reviews are just people that would rather eat fake Italian Olive Garden with oversized meatballs and gargantuan piles of Parmesan cheese.“

“You gotta get the cheese or garlic bread. Our family is hard to fit places to eat bc we have two very picky eaters but we can usually eat here one stop for us all. My parents favorite place to eat when visiting from out of town. Def give the pizza bread a try also!“

“We enjoy having dinner at Amore. We often will go earlier in the evening and grab a spot at the bar. In all are dining experiences we have never had a bad meal. Our favorite dishes include the chicken parmigiana, chicken florentine, spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna, and their nightly specials are amazing! Last night they had a blue crab cornbread pudding as an appetizer or side dish that was delicious. If you can’t save room for the dessert, order the carrot cake to take home with you. It is the best carrot cake I have ever eaten!“

“I've been coming here for 20+ years and the food is constantly consistent for their main dishes —chicken and salmon. The cost had gone up significantly and the portions have decreased. The add-on price if you request anything extra is new as well.“

“I had never heard of this restaurant until a family member from out of state sent me a link as a suggestion to cater our grandson’s first birthday party. We were expecting 80 people (adults and children) - he is a miracle baby and this was a big celebration! We wanted to make sure there was enough food that both adults and children would enjoy. Paula was so patient and gracious to us as we went back and forth about what we wanted, even changing the menu at the last minute. She was also extremely helpful and gave us the perfect suggestions for a crowd our size, with something for everyone. She even made a low sodium option for my husband who is on a renal diet. We ended up with two pasta dishes and two kinds of panini sliders, with garlic bread bites and a complimentary tray of cookies. Everything was incredibly delicious, and we had tons of food! Everyone raved about it and commented it was like food at a wedding reception. The panini sliders were a huge hit! This is not your typical Italian food - it is high quality cuisine, and you can tell it is “made with love” as my husband says - and very reasonably priced especially for the quality. Lastly, Paula’s husband, Anthony, delivered the meal all the way to Bernheim Forest where we had the event. We were running behind and it was so chaotic when he got there - but he was so gracious and helpful, and even brought a birthday gift Paula had gotten for our grandson! Our entire experience with them was wonderful. They served us well, and we’ll definitely go back. They are busy, so if you don’t get a call back, be patient - it will be well worth the wait!“

“What could anyone add that isn't already known about this fabulous staple in American cuisine culture we call The Olive Garden? Whts not to love... endless bread sticks, soup and salad coupled with your favorite Italian dish (mine is baked ziti.) And don't we love leaving feeling like a satisfied, stuffed piñata?…I felt compelled to write a review for this specific Olive Garden because my experience there was extraordinary! Sometimes it is service that makes the difference and this was no exception!After having a delicious meal I felt compelled to white because I couldn't have been more satisfied by the welcoming and congenial overtures paid by the entire staff. In particular Lizzy and Lauren. I can't wait to go again and visit Lizzie in the bar or maybe be lucky enough to have Lauren as my server!Thanks for being so positive and kind, i have not laughed so much in a long time! “Solid pizza place. Their green chili chicken pizza is my fav, I would rate that alone 5 stars. We were lucky enough to be seated in a room that was quieter than the main dining area, and that made it so easy to have conversation and enjoy the ambiance.“

“Steve was our server for a phenomenal dining experience. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The pasta and meatball dish had the most flavorful marinara I have ever eaten. The well crafted Italian margarita went perfectly with it. My boyfriend had the linguine dish with a glass of Merlot and loved it. For dessert we had the cheesecake and almond joy. “Ate lunch at southside of Louisville Kentucky. Very friendly and very clean. Debbie S. Is great. She took our order and brought it to us with fresh breadsticks. “This is simply the best and most authentic Italian you can get in Louisville. I've been twice in the last six months and both times my food and service was exceptional. I highly recommend the gnocchi (it tastes like a cloud) and the sausage and butternut squash rigatoni (perhaps the best thing on the main menu.) I cannot speak for the cocktails but enjoyed the wine selection and the suggested pairings from the waitress.I decided to leave a review after seeing a few negative ones about the service. “This is a great little neighborhood eatery that features panini, pizza, sandwiches and some larger entrees. The food is carefully crafted, the service friendly and attentive. There is a decent beer list, a good wine list and specialty coffees on offer. Don't miss the frites, deep fried to perfection!“

“Great place to grab a quick bite. Pizza was good and had a great flavor. Everyone was friendly and helpful. An overall great atmosphere. The only slight knock was that it was not what I would call a “traditional Sicilian” pizza. It was very thin pizza more like New York style. My girlfriend is 1st gen Sicilian Immigrant and said she agreed that it’s usually a much thicker crust. More closely resembling a Chicago style deep dish. Other than that small issue, it was great and well worth the price.“
