“Great food with the exception of their raspberry cobbler…it was more like warm fruit with a hard wafer laid on top…really..Cobbler is a dessert consisting of a fruit (or less commonly savory) filling poured into a large baking dish and covered with a batter, biscuit, or dumpling (in the United Kingdom) before being baked. Some cobbler recipes, especially in the American South, resemble a thick-crusted, deep-dish pie with both a top and bottom crust. Cobbler is part of the cuisine of the United Kingdom and United States, and should not be confused with a crumble.“

“We’ve been stopping at this Cracker Barrel for years on our way between Indiana and Ohio, and it has never disappointed. Today, it took awhile to be seated, but our server, Melanie gave us excellent service. The food was hot and good - true comfort food. Melanie refilled my husband’s drink several times and apologized when it took her awhile to get back to him. She is the first Cracker Barrel server who remembered to bring us just one biscuit each when we requested that - no sense wasting a biscuit that were too full to eat.“

“When visiting Ohio all the way from South Africa, all that I wanted to experience in the USA was a proper burger and the all American atmosphere. Be sure to pay a visit to the Red Front Inn just outside Richmond, because that is exactly what you’ll find here! Proper American vibes with incredible service and hospitality ???“

“The woman who seated us (who I believe is a manager- if not she should be!) was great! She was very quirky and funny and so nice. Before she left she let us take pictures around the place (without bothering customers, of course). Our waitress (different younger lady) seemed a bit disinterested and a little inattentive but it was a bit crowded so I understand. The food was really good in terms of taste, however their portion sizes are very small compared to anywhere else I have ever been, especially for the price. The macaroni and cheese wasn’t great though, it tasted like peanut oil and didn’t have enough cheese (I recommend the cheesy potatoes though. So good.)I ordered an alcoholic beverage, the picture showed it came in a decent sized glass jar but it was delivered in a normal glass cup (much smaller than I thought) so it was a bit disappointing. However, I do recommend the place as their food has very good and unique flavor. We went during live music and was seated close, so it was a little loud for my taste but there is another side to the restaurant to sit. He did a good job on stage though! The parking was abysmal for us (originally didn’t find a spot and had to circle around the whole city to get back lol) but we eventually parked right across the street in the lot from it. So it was very close, right in front.Very neat decor and interior.Overall, you should definitely try it at least once.“
