“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“The Wandering Vine is my favorite place to go in the KC metro for fine dining. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You won't find a better meal in the Kansas City area. If you want flowers for your date, they create them in house as that is another one of the owner's specialties. Carla makes amazingly beautiful arrangements. If you're entertaining your significant other or hosting to impress, this is the place you want to take them!“

“The food is amazing. However, they have stared reducing the size of the meal. You also get charged for bread which I believe they use to give with entree's. For the cost of the meal the purportion should be bigger or offered with a salad and bread.“

“Loved Pegahs. Food was great and served hot and fresh. Staff was super friendly and treated us like regulars. We had dinner. Erica was our server. She was great. The next morning we came back. Michele was our server. She is Erica's sister. We loved the friendly sibling rivalry! We are about 45 mins from this location and only stopped because we were in town. We will happily make the drive just to come back to this warm, welcoming place!“

“A friend of mine recommended this place as she frequents so much, they know her by name. With that being said, I had to try! I've personally never been to the location, but I have visited a food spot next to it and it seems to be very spacious with plenty of parking especially during the day. We ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap, Buffalo ranch on the side so we could control the sauce amount as well as the spice, extra ranch on the side and a couple tator tots (clearly eaten before the photo was taken). Surprisingly for as simple as it is, the chicken had a delicious grilled flavor, lettuce super crisp, cheese delish and the Buffalo sauce had a little tanginess to it that just pulled everything together. I'd definitely come back and I look forward to trying other items on the menu!“

“We ate there Saturday afternoon and they weren't overly busy. Two of us got the shrimp platter with fries and onion rings. Unfortunately, the shrimp and hush puppies were burnt. They were so overcooked they weren't moist at all, dry as can be. The waitress forgot to bring the malt vinegar for our friends fish platter. Then she ordered a mule beer and the waitress never did return with that either. Food used to be great. Hopefully this was just a bad day. We'll give them another chance.“

“-THEY TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS-Found it very busy- the worker told us it would be approximately 30 minutes before we were seated. They got us in much quicker and the server was very kind. Sadly they forgot to put in a pancake order, but were pleasantly surprised when a worker apologized to us and gave us a $20 gift card AND took the pancake off of the ticket.“

Lol.The general gist was that this bar is absolutely AMAZING!!!The staff, from the bar to the kitchen, were absolutely AMAZING!!!The beer and the WINGS WERE A SHOW STOPPER!!! I mean, honestly, I have never had wings more delicious than what they serve here. The BEST wings in Kansas/Kansas City Area!!!We got the Garlic Parmesan, Buffalo, and Barbecue; all Charred and Sauced. I loved how they did the menu to give you so many options to choose on how to make your wings to your liking.The environment can be a bit anxiety spiking if you are not used to that type of environment (literally just me, my boyfriend had the time of his life) but once we got settled, the anxiety started to fade and I felt protected, which I wasnt expecting.The staff (she seemed to do all the up front bar work, order taking and serving so I don't know the technical name for that but she's a BOSS in my eyes) came around, she was absolutely amazing, respectful and extremely patient while I took a minute to figure out what I wanted.Once we ordered, she brought his beer out, which was delicious! And the wings came out shortly after that.I had to temporarily stop our feasting for this ONE photo because I knew I had to come back and write a review about how amazing this place is.This is an absolute GEM of a bar situated next to a Walmart.A slice of history and heaven all rolled into one.I am so grateful to have experienced the beauty that is this bar and all the wonderful joys that came with visiting.Parking: It's located right next to a Walmart, so there is parking no matter which way you swing it.“

“Not your usual bar fare! Good variety of menu selections. Wraps, cheese curds, sweet potato fries, and black bean salsa were fresh and tasty. The Instamatics were rocking out to a mostly geriatric crowd (us included!), dancing up a storm. Great night! (Could have used a little more attention from the waiter for refills on our waters so we could keep hydrated.)“
