I went to El Mezcal III with a friend last night for the first time. I wanted to check this place out due to the good reviews and just because I love Hispanic food. It was busy (which I expected it to be). However, our server had us waiting on him entirely too long before he took our order. The first time he came to get our orders we weren’t ready just yet (my friend had just arrived) then after that it’s like he continued to pass our table and help others out, who got their food before we did although they came after us. About 30-45 mins later he finally came back. It also seemed as though he was rushing us to order (even though he took his sweet time to check on us throughout our entire visit). Our waiter didn’t ask to refill our drinks either just horrible! For all that waiting, the food didn’t take long at all maybe 10-15 mins. I would give the food itself a 6/10. MAYBE I’ll try it again on a less busier day with a different server as the sever I had was not attentive at all!
