I've been eating at Taco Tico for 45 years since high school. It has been consistently the same. It's fast Mexican, similar to Taco Bell, but with a better variety and flavor.
This is the Taco Tico in North Topeka. It's an older style building but the service is remarkable and even though I had to wait about 5 mins before they could take my order through drive thru, the food was hot, fresh, and tasty as always. I love anything Taco Tico and my favourite item is the Delux Taco Burger that has sour cream and green onions added. The toastadas are also good and so are the crunchy Tacos. Apparently if you only want meat & cheese tacos they will charge you more for just the meat & cheese?makes no sense to charge for taking the lettuce & tomatoes off the tacos. Lesson learned!
