“Interesting twist on tacos. The jerk chicken taco was by far the best. I’d be interested in trying the other southern infused dishes such as crawfish. The fried chicken taco was decent, jerk was just better. The Al pastor fell short in comparison to the last two. It lacked flavor and the pork was tough. The complimentary salsa also wasn’t my favorite. All in all, I’d come back for the fusion dishes. Not much confidence in the authentic Mexican dishes.“

“The best empanadas and arepas I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer because these would be in my weekly rotation; especially because they have frozen items that you can purchase in bulk. I had the chicken empanada and the vegetarian arepa and I would love to have had enough room in my stomach to try everything else. Plus, the employees there were very sweet. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“LOVED this restaurant!! My party ordered a chicken bowl, arepa, plantains and empanada, with cilantro sauce (the spicy is not too spicy). Everything was absolutely delicious! Very friendly service and timely served considering it was all cooked to order. Carry out only, but peeking inside it looked very clean. Outside there are four nice tables for dining. We will definitely return!“

“We wandered in here late on a Sunday night from the hotel across the street and heard this place was good (ironically from the Ramen place that had run out of noodles). They had run out of ingredients for the Cuban sandwich my hubby had wanted and the guy was super apologetic. We decided to share the Who Dey bowl--delicious!--and even gave us a free beef empanada to make up for the Cubano. Super kind and really great service. Highly recommend!“

“With the beginning of Latino Heritage Month, I wanted to support local places and try somewhere j haven't been before. Thanks to the reviews here, I decided that this would be the place to give a shot. The place is not glamorous. I didn't see a sign with the name of the place outside, and the inside is minimal. Just some tables and chairs. The menu is a QR code and it's also on a chalkboard. Regardless of all of that, the food is truly a journey into a phenom homemade meal. I had the pepian and my friend had the pollo dorado. The wait wasn't bad at all, as we got there about 45 min before they closed, and we dug in immediately. The meat of my dish just fell off the bone in the most beautiful way imaginable and the fried chicken had the most flavorful and light crunch in just a bite. The tortillas are house made and really add to the experience of it all. I also got a Jamaica agua fresca, and it is one of the best I've had in the area. Just sweet enough without the overwhelming flavor of the hibiscus. Simply put, if you want a perfectly cooked homemade meal with excellent flavors, you have to visit this place!!“
