“rude and disrespectful service” isn’t an option. Neither is cold food. This young boy DOES REPRESENT Wendy’s and this was terrible representation on their part. Their employees represent the company. I just received the upmost rudest customer service at the Wendy’s located at 410 Philadelphia Street in Covington, Ky. I arrived at the carry out/pick up counter at 5:18. I waited over 5 mins to place the order. I was not inpatient, and I didn’t even mind. I placed my order at 5:26pm. I watched 2 groups who arrived after me get their food, and not once complained even then, although I was a little curious what the issue was. Most know that I’m very patient. However, when the polite young lady behind the counter asked me if they made my order wrong, even after me giving this particular young boy my my receipt, the younger boy/CSR/cook stated specifically ”she was just complaining that that’s not hers, so she is gonna have to wait then”. I stated that I had been waiting; since 5:18. Wow. I wondered if I heard correctly. Lol. The great thing is that I thought to turn on my recorder when I realized that my order was wrong, simply because I can’t stand when they have the audacity to be rude and disrespectful towards polite and patient paying customers. Unfortunately this hapoens so frequently that we customers have to record our interactions with these people. He can be heard saying this on video and he is on video. I asked him his name, I had to inquire 2-3 times before he told me that his name is Scott. Rather that’s a fictious name or not matters none to me. I have his description, and the video, which I have already contacyed corporate about. He is a younger boy, long curly crinkly hair, he wore glasses, he is light skinned, skinny. I’m certain corporate won’t have an issue figuring out who he is. I realized after receiving my order that he also just threw my fries into the bag and they were all dumped out on the bottom. Not to mention cold. See photo. I didn’t pay $10.65 for rude service. I don’t pay to be disrespected. If I am kind and patient, I accept the same. This disrespect is uncalled for, and it should not be tolerated. The lady who said she was management was standing there, again on video, and she said absolutely nothing to this young boy. I am a business owner, I am self employed, I have worked management, and that would have been unacceptable. Why do we allow this behavior in our fast food industry? Why do we customers accept this behavior and these attitudes? Why do we continue to take them our business? I will not be taking my money to this location again. The food was also cold. Just, bewildering, really. I did inform the lady manager, the one who told me that she was the manager, that I would be contacting corporate. She only said, “okay”. Everything can be documented and verified by my video, and by the camera/security tape. Attached is a photo of my receipt. Terrible service from the “hostess” ( def not the hostess with the mostess!). When I pulled up I hadn’t even stopped the car and she had already asked me what I wanted - in those words even. When I was ready to order she was speaking fast like she was in a hurry and didn’t have time fir a customer- once I orders and she tried to repeat it back but sounded very preoccupied and didn’t repeat my full order. The lady that took my money was pleasant and friendly. It was here I had to double check the order that was placed. Then I had to get my food from the other one... who took my order. First off she handed my drink to me so fast and shut the window even faster- again the car wasnt fully stopped. Then she gave me my food - no words, no thank you for stopping by, no have a nice day. Just shove the bag out of the window. And leave. I was making desire I had the correct order (since the last time I got someone else’s order) and here she comes standing in the window- did ask if she needed something and she said no, we have cars in mine. I told her why I was checking the food which we all know takes a loong time- and I was fully aware of the one car that was behind me. She said something so rude to me I had to cut her off and tell her how pleasant she has been. Was this Shanasia or Julmonta? Not sure. But I won’t be back.
