We visited the Purple Poulet for the first time recently and it lived up to every expectation we had for it! We went for a special occasion and were dressed up but saw people in various clothing styles. Everything was placed beautifully and the food was amazing! If you are looking for a great dinner make a plan to visit soon! Also this would be a wonderful place to take someone from out of town! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The owner/hostess, Roxanne, greeted us with attitude. She the most unaccommodating and abrasive person and should retire from the restaurant business. We won’t be back. Previous to this experience, we had eaten there five times to great delight. It was my birthday and my partner planned a gathering of nine friends. He bought a birthday cake to bring to the restaurant. We were promptly met by the discourteous, Roxanne, stating no outside food was permitted. Four friends had already arrived. They were at the bar. One friend was told by the bartender that he could not be served unless seated in a barstool. The bartender started that it was a rule in the state of Kentucky. The reservation was for 5:15. The four arrived at 5:00 p.m. and were told they could not be seated until 5:15 due to other reservations at 5:00 p.m. The restaurant was not busy and the table was already prepared. The service was good. The food was excellent. The ambience is lovely. The attitude of the owner is the reason nine customers will never return. Good luck Purple Poulet at keeping customers as long as the rebarbative Roxanne is at the helm.
