We've eaten at Greyhound Tavern before ordering off their menu and the food and service was fantastic. We chose Mother's Day to go (with online reservations) for this very reason—bringing along our family which includes teenagers and young adults. We noticed a sign when we walked in that said Mother's Day Buffet. The service was great and we loved the food. A few things to improve on. It was Mother's Day, so large crowds are expected. However, there was a family of 16-20 sat in the middle of the dining room (between the booths in the main room). They were very inconsiderate of other customers - blocking the aisle ways to and from the buffet, standing and talking in the middle of the room, and talking at the top of their lungs.
