“Feels like your typical Mexican restaurant. It has it's ups and downs, but mostly up. They offer every type of Mexican dish you would expect. Employees are nice and food is good. I keep going back. The churros and jalapeno margs are excellent!“

“I like chipotle… Their food is always consistent, tasty, and satisfying. I got the Carnitas burrito with brown rice black beans and all the fixings… super satisfying after a long day on the road. This particular restaurant was tired on the inside and the outside… I did not feel like I wanted to sit down inside… Luckily, I was taking my food to goThe staff, however, was excellent, attentive, and helpful… it’s always about the people in these were good people“

“Want to know what it’s like eating at a taco joint in Mexico. Come on down to El Taco Feliz. My wife and I ate here and we were the only Caucasian people present. But that’s a good thing. In Kentucky, If Hispanics are coming to buy the tacos then it’s 100% legit. Best street tacos I’ve had to this day. Thanks El Taco Feliz, we will be back soon!!!….. many times.“

“Lucky to have found this place on 5 de Mayo...So worth the detour on a long road trip! INCREDIBLE tortas; we had the Norteña and the Torta Loca. Highly recommended them both. The bread along with the great milanesa and fresh, tasty ingredients. Every bite was perfection. Original menu and really delicious food, fun vibe and attentive staff makes the meal even more enjoyable. These guys are the real deal.“

“This taco truck/trailer is the best in the Northern Kentucky area. I have tried a number of things, but the chicken tacos are my favorite so far. The sauces that accompany the tacos are outstanding! The only thing I wish they had consistently was horchata, which they have had, but the past few times they did not. We love this place!“

“I don't normally leave high praise as I'm about to, but this restaurant deserves it. Service is quick and there's lots of memorabilia to check out. But the best part was the food, it is made as if someone actually put care into it! Definitely marking this place as a return in our future travels.“

“The real thing! If you miss Mexico and are tired of the corporate chain Mexican food then this is the place to go. More flavorful and more food on the plate than a lot of the little Mom and Pop Mexican places. The atmosphere is very old school, not like some modern restaurant in Cancun. Felt like I was back in Veracruz. Check out this quesadilla.“

“I am so excited that Dayton, KY has a Mexican restaurant! It’s very walkable from my house and has everyone’s favorites on the menu. The space is quite small and good for a lunch or evening dinner. The salsa and chips are always a good factor in deciding whether the place is worth it, and it is. Delicious. Service was speedy and servers were so nice. Can’t wait to go back.Parking: Parking spot is located towards back of restaurant near patio seating.“

“Was about to fly out on an empty stomach so I stopped here to fill up the rental car and gab a quick bite. It was the best taco I have had in years. I can not recommend this place enough. If you are flying out or in to Cincinnati or live here, please stop and try these tacos you will not be disappointed, and if you are disappointed then seek medical attention as soon as possible.“

“Visiting from Michigan and I can say that this is going down in the memories. The food was superb!! None of that boring Midwest food. Spicy ? and so delicious ?. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food that you get.Andrea was our waitress and she was great. Because we were a big party, we were in the back corner but Andrea made sure we had great service.Thank y'all for the memories and great food.“

“Excellent place to eat. Husband and I ate there for the first time a few days ago. Service was excellent without making us feel like she was hovering. I tried something new (for me) their Pollo Patron. Loved it! My biggest problem going to a Mexican restaurant is getting something with vegetables without having to go full vegetarian so I usually stick with fajitas or tacos. The Pollo Patron was a delicious mix of veggies, chicken and queso over rice. My husband loves very spicy food and their Pollo Diablo fit the bill. We will definitely will be going back.Edit to add: the choices Google had for recommendations didn't list what we had. I would recommend both but beware of the Pollo Diablo if you can't handle super spicy! ?“

“I see some negative comments. I don't believe the reviewers realize what Zapata is about. Frankly, I find it refreshing that dishes are not smothered in cheese and drowning in sauce. Zapata is about combining flavors, and not marching to the beat of the typical Americanized version of Mexican food to which we have become accustomed. I recommend it to all my friends.“

“Street tacos were tasty - Al Pastor (marinated pork with pineapple) was the way to go. Great mix of savory and slight sweetness characteristic of the dish. The Birria was delicious too, but a little salty. Toppings were right on - fresh cilantro and onions. Salsa and tortilla chips were homemade. Super friendly service and smiling faces. The whole experience was great.“

“We went to the aquarium and I was starving and none of the nearby options really spoke to me. So we started walking and ended up here. It instantly reminded me of a neighborhood place in Baltimore, but even better because they sell booze here!I got the flautas platter and a vegetarian taco for me and my daughter to share and we couldn't finish it. It was amazing! Probably the best meal I've had in the Cincinnati area.Don't sleep on this place!Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs“

“Best tripa tacos in greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Can't go wrong with any of the tacos on the menu, but tripa is my favorite for both the crisp and the chew. Love the menudo and wish it was available every day instead of just the weekend.Super quick service and always delicious salsa.Parking: This section of Madison Ave usually has plenty of street parking on both sides“

“We have had dinner here 3 times recently! Always looking for local establishments to support! Highly recommend this one! The servers have been wonderful!! All the food we have choosen has been very good! Every time our son comes in town we try a new place between here and Cincinnati and so far this has been his favorite! He had the street tacos and raved about them! It does take just a little bit of time to get our food however, it is 100% worth it because it’s so fresh and hot and very tasty! please do give this place a try, you won’t regret it!“

“It was nice, a bit crowded. There were tables obviously open, but the wIt they quoted was too long, so we ate at the bar. Food was good. But needed some seasoning. Drink were too expensive, but very good (not overly alcoholic) we might go back if we are in cincy again...for the smoked gouda dip.“

“No words for how good these tacos. We also tried the chicken chimichanga and that was delicious well. What really took the cake (or took the taco) was their guacamole. Clearly had just been made and was so good. The vibes inside are very fun, we sat at the counter. The spinning chairs slayed. We were in and out in less than an hour. Very quick and nice people.“

“Met some friends for dinner and margaritas. Three of us had not been there, and we all enjoyed our visit. Margaritas were great, and yes, they had tajin behind the bar. A nephew taught me to use tajin instead of salt for a margarita. It adds so much flavor but negligible heat.“

The staff is friendly and very attentive to needs. The restrooms are cleaner than any restaurant I've been in and they smell very good. “We have been here multiple times since moving back to the midwest from California, and the food and service are always been great. Their specials are usually something really good. On this visit my wife had the Barbacoa tacos and I had a combination plate with 2 shredded beef tamales, rice and beans. The food was delicious. Torres ranks up there with some of our favorite Mexican restaurants in California.“

“Our server and service was very quick and top notch. We had a good time and the food was amazing. There was quite a bit of food for the price (pretty much took another whole meal home). I ordered a big frozen margarita which was pretty good and it was lighting up with a little cute duck on top. Overall I loved it and will come back again.“

“This may be the best Mexican food I've ever had, which feels like an exaggeration, but it really was that good. The chicken was flavorful and not dry in the dishes. The rice was well seasoned. The staff were friendly and down to earth. It was just a cozy place to get Mexican and a drink after work and can tell it will be a spot I return to again and again.“
