“Where to begin... a family place if I've ever seen one. You've got the locals that know everyone there, you've got uncle Mike and his meat sticks and don't forget grandpa John and the haunting figure of someone's grandma hanging over the bar. The bartender I think his name was Chad friendliest guy you'll ever meet, makes a mean whisky on the rocks. Also the pizza joint next door is fantastic or maybe it was just the drinks but either way it was a good time.“

“Sat on the patio, very open, nice breeze, tables are spaced well.Waiter (Ethan) was excellent, very attentive, made good recommendations, came back several times to check on us, took care of our requests (party of 6 including 2 young kids). Food was also excellent - the onion rings have the same light breading as the Lenten fish special (our go to place for fish during Lent), burgers all came out as ordered and incredible amount of flavor, the ketchup is awesome. Three of us ordered one of the rotating tap beers and loved them. Thanks for a great evening!“

“We had a somewhat large party in the back for the server to get everything super quick but he did a good job. I had the grilled Ruben and fries and a side salad and my wife had the Cobb salad. I kind of didn't enjoy the salad because of the mixture of salad greens and purple leaves as well. But other then that the beer was cold and fresh and went down good. We will sure be back here. Good location as well. Would love to be outside on their patio when the weather gets better. Enjoy!“

“Loved our dining experience at Bouqet. Our server Ella was great! We tried the focaccia bread (delicious) and the cheese plate to start. Loved the pickled options. We also tried the steak, meatballs, and salmon. All were so good. The only reason I didn't give full 5 stars due to the noise level from a neighboring table. They were even nice enough to provide a complimentary dessert to apologize for the table's rowdiness. Would definitely recommend and return!“

Burrata and tomato jam was basically an amazing caprese, sooo good. We also had truffle mushrooms which we added to dumpling broth, YUM! and also had the perfect broccoli with just an ok aioli. Was unimpressed with crab avocado toast, not worth the expense. Have had a a lot of crab food options s and this underwhelmed. My husband is a brownie sundae officianato and he seriously loved the s'more brownie dessert. Overall, great food and sat outside away from a noisy interior on a Friday night.“

“Moved closer to the area and wanted to try out a new dinner spot to celebrate. We had a 5 star experience across the board. I was able to make a reservation same day, shortly after I got a call from the owner confirming the reservation, asking if we were celebrating anything special, and making sure we didn't have any dietary restrictions. The service when we got to the restaurant even exceeded this. Everything we ordered was exceptional and I can't wait to come back and try something else! Highly recommend.“

“Loved the cute vibe that Grassroots has, and the employees were happy and knowledgeable. They recommended their favorites, and were spot on when they said their gluten free carrot cake was so moist and flavorful that you couldn't tell it lacked the gluten. The flatbread was delicious, and the puréed Roma tomatoes that topped the pizza were to die for. Loved the combo of Roma and pesto on the thin, crisp, flatbread. This would be a cute place to go to when the sun is shining so you could eat on the outdoor patio and then stroll the downtown shops. The majority of the tables seemed more suited for two people's dining, but they did have dining enough for four. It isn't a place for a large party, unless you called and arranged something ahead of time. I gave it 4 stars for lack of variety on the menu, but overall it was a nice place to go for a bite to eat. If you were only going for a cocktail, this would be a definite contender to sit down and relax with a drink.“

“In town for our anniversary. Randomly looked up options for cocktails and lunch. Reserved a spot via Open Table and they did not disappoint. The deviled eggs are amazing. The Dirty French burger and Neck Bone Gravy were out of this world. Service was top notch. We will be back!“

“I had both dinner and breakfast here and was so impressed with the friendly staff who were more than accommodating with our menu modifications. The manager checked on us both times and took pride in making sure we were well served. The portions were enormous and beautifully presented. You get what you pay for in every way here. “We had a gift certificate given to us for Christmas a couple of years ago that we finally got to use. The pros: It was a really good time having dinner on the train, being entertained and hearing some history. The staff was awesome and really went above and beyond. After dinner they highly recommended to explore the train, which we did. It was quite a ride back holding on as we were walking, but it made for some good laughs. Several groups of people dressed up forties style which was very cool. I would suggest if you have a special occasion to book well in advance if you can. Some of the cons: Also I felt that the price was a little high for what you got. Drinks were about average price these days, $12 a piece and tip added another $50. Also they sat us with another couple, which I wasn't a fan of, but oh well. Another thing, don't be expecting beautiful scenery on this ride. It was a lot of graffiti on the back side of buildings and shopping centers. Lol.“

“Tried Lana's Diner for the first time. Time of our visit came just after their lunch rush. It was obvious they had been busy and at the moment of our arrival, there was only one server waiting tables. While there was a little wait, it was understandable why. The one server, though overwhelmed, did not allow the circumstance to rattle her or keep her from pushing on to take care of customers. I was impressed by how she worked her job without letting her job work her. Her attitude remained polite and helpful to those she was serving. Food was very good and was presented as quickly as was reasonably possible. It was good service considering the circumstance. I give Lana's 5 Stars We will be back!! I highly recommend this down-home diner!!“

“Last time we came here we had a gift card for Oakley kitchen, and the man working at the time (April 16th 2024 actually) did sketches and drawings and was super nice, (also the burgers are phenomenal) he figured out how to use the gift card perfectly fine and even rung us up a second time for another order. We came again today and they suddenly can’t take the gift card, it’s a 100 dollar gift card and there’s only four places even open here with fat Al’s being one of the two places we’re interested in. Really dissapointing as it was used perfectly fine the last time TWICE and we drove half an hour to get here specifically for their burgers. The manager was on the phone and said they were one of the last people to switch to using a card (or something like that??) but again it worked last time we came so that doesn’t make any sense :/ our visit today was on 4/30/24.“

“Went here on a Saturday a little after noon. We were seated immediately and each person working was super hospitable and welcoming! The atmosphere is friendly and vibrant while still maintaining a upscale (but approachable) scene. The menu is limited and rotates for the time of day which makes ordering easy. Everything is super high quality and definitely some of the best food I’ve had in NKY/Cincy!!! Our server, I think her name is Anette, was really great! Super excited to come back to try their dinner menu. Super great local place!“

“Wow! Really enjoyed the first visit to Walts! Walking in, you can feel the history in the walls. Its a step back in time, a well preserved gem. Ordered the special for the evening, filet with crabcake, both were tasty and cooked to order. Service was exceptional! Couldn't have asked for a better server. He even brought out icecream to celebrate a birthday as a nice surprise! The peanut butter pie is excellent, we shared, it was perfect! And, the rye bread is unforgettable!“

“The hotel, museum, and restaurant are beautiful and unique. We were seated at exactly the time of our reservation. We all enjoyed our food so much, and we fell in love with the little potatoes you call home fries. Our server was a bit distracted and tentative (she forgot our drinks, got confused how to take my bacon back to get it cooked more without taking my whole plate), but she wasn't terrible. We were amazed at how reasonable the prices were for such a nice experience. In no small part, Metropole was responsible for helping me have one of the best Mother's Days ever!“

“I'm not a huge chicken fan and I don't eat fish. So why go to 1883 in Union KY for lunch. Well the three ladies I was with wanted to go there. Naturally I complied. I didn't want a huge burger but I wished that they had a BLT. Here is where my rating comes in at a 5! They took the time to make me a BLT and fries. When a restaurant changes something for a picky patron, that left a Very Strong Impression on me. Couple that with one of the best servers that I have ever encountered. His name is Matt at the Union location. If you are fortunate enough to have Matt as your server. You will see what I mean. Kudos Matt/1883 Jerome“

The Caulisprouts were just about everyone’s favorite, but I got so many compliments on the pulled pork w/Tabasco slaw and the Greek wraps (it was a great vegetarian option)too! The team that worked with me to deliver and set up the food was incredible. So friendly and helpful, definitely went above and beyond!“

“This place has good food. The drinks are mostly reasonable, and they have a huge selection. They have special event drinks when shows come to the Aronoff Center across the street. Happy hour specials are fantastic, and each table is separated enough to give privacy. The only thing that drops a star from 5 is the absence of Haggis from a scottish menu. If they ever put it on the menu I'll stop by and hopefully give them a fifth star.“

I got a chicken rice bowl with lots of toppings and the house vin. the staff is a very efficient and keeps you moving down the line quickly. They do a great job restocking and making sure everything is available and fresh. Pretty quiet in here on a Monday but they have good music!“

“I always order a bowl and a vita boost smoothie. The food is always good to me, but the smoothie is always not blended properly. I have asked them time to time to reblend it, but this time they could clearly see there were chunks of fruit in the smoothie and still served it to me. I love the vita boost taste, but the past few times have ruined it for me.“
