“This burrito bar served us like a sit down restaurant. They take what they're doing real serious, and it shows in the food. I have eaten at a great and many burrito bar. This place actually outdid my favorite burrito bar that has about 5 locations. I was shocked. The chicken absolutely slaps. The steak was tender and juicy. This place seems new. It's very plain inside still. I did not expect that caliber of food. I was so pleasantly surprised. I never had a favorite place in Henderson before. I will be stopping here every time I pass through. It's that good.Vegetarian options: Lots of fresh veggies on the make line. Best pepper/onion caramelized mix ever!Dietary restrictions: You only get what you ask for in your dish.Kid-friendliness: My kids would wolf this food down.”

“I've been meaning to stop by and try their food. I am so glad I did. I ordered a rack of ribs and several pieces of pecan pie. Oh my, the ribs are delicious and fall right off the bone. “Bodega is a combination store and diner. I went in to check it out with tacos de lengua and some jamaica and found both to be very good. The tacos were loaded with meat and garnished with fresh cilantro, onions, radish slices, cucumber slices, and salsa. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. Highly recommend if you want authentic Mexican food.”

“Tacoholics is the real deal. It's a small town U.S.A. so I would think it would be "okay." But it's amazing. The staff is great, the food is great, the ambiance of the place is great. It's in downtown Henderson with an amazing look. I love this place. They also have BBQ in the menu with some of my favorite things. Authentic Mexican food with BBG. This is just a small part of the menu though. I'm sorry I don't have pictures for it, but I was just there tonight and it was great.”

“Visited here for the first time today with a friend! A very cute and modernized coffee shop. I tried their iced cocoa crush with oat milk, which was recommended by the barista. They don't charge extra for alternative milks, which is wonderful for those who have dairy allergies! Service was fast, and drink was good! Will be visiting again, and hopefully to try their lunch menu.”

“This is bar food at its finest. I hadn't been here since it changed ownership and had heard some good things about it.They were accurate. The burger was juicy and had great flavor. The bun was toasted just enough to have a slight crunch. Even the tomato slice tasted ripe (not easy to do in February)The fries were above average.We will definitely be visiting Metzgers again! “We were visiting Henderson .After a relaxing walk along the Riverfront we decided to give Roast Coffee Bar a try .I had the hot Latte with Kentucky syrup .It was very good with notes of pecan and bourbon .My husband had the iced caramel latte he also enjoyed his drink . “Stopped in @ Coffee and Cream while visiting our son @ college in Evansville. We came to Henderson to hike at the State Park and stayed for dinner and dessert afterwards. Really good ice cream and great value in 2024 economy. 24 ounce earthquake @ $6.50. I can’t understate the value in this pricing in the current economy. The Earthquake is comparable to the biggest size “snow storm” at the better known ice cream place. It might even be bigger. Absolutely no comparison. This ice cream is so much better. Do not hesitate to stop in for ice cream.”

“We don't get service like this in Illinois - pretty sure the longest I had to wait for a drink was about 30 seconds. Food was great, and being right by the river adds great atmosphere. The dog friendly aspect put the cherry on top since we could let our little guy sit at our feet outside. Y'all rule.”

“I never go inside. So I'm not sure how it looks, or how service is inside. Drive thru is usually quick, food is usually hot and ready. I've only had one time here where I felt the beef and cheddar I got wasn't hot, or much warm. Prices are fine, drive through service went well, and usually does.”

“First time here deliver bulk load of rice meal was a little confusing as to where to go. In the evening you scale yourself in at the office bld. Then pull ahead off the scales and turn left. Go behind the buildings and make a right at the concrete barriers to make a loop around the parked trailers and then drive back to the front entrance near the guard shack. The bulk shed is next to the blue silos. Then rescale to get empty weight. Nice place to unload.”

“Best pizza I have ever had! Me and my wife stopped in and didn't know what to expect. I had told her about the deep dish pizza I had in Chicago, which is why I decided on the pizza pie. This was better than anything I had in Chicago. The crust was perfect, the sauce was amazing and the cheese looked like something off of a commercial. Left a 20 dollar tip just because of how good the food was, we still talk about that pizza to this day.Parking: All parking was within a short distance from the entrance.”

“(NEWER UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM OG THIS SECTION)Our entire family has been eating here often since it first opened because of the great customer service care and decent priced food that was delicious. I have noticed some changes over the past few months that are now kind of discouraging us to come or order to go as we sometimes do. #1 I understand inflation (but that's why we came here frequently), but the prices are creeping up a bunch slowly & not as easy for a family of 5 to do as often. Now we only come when kids eat free (but they still aren't fully charging free like they use too drinks are $4 alone and you sometimes have to be persistent or ask to even get a refill (depends on waiter at that time) most the time we have no issues with others that are normal waiters. One weekend, our ticket was still $60 for 5, and 2 kids on kids eat free day. I feel like someone is intentionally overcharging to pocket or something bc that can't be right. #2 They used to be so friendly, but most newer servers make you feel like a hassle or seem put out if they have to do any extra and aren't as friendly and personal anymore. I hope you all work on this because we would rather come here than any other local Mexican food restaurant.#3 I feel like the cooks are not.all following the menu or cooking the same across the board. We used to get plenty of meat or seafood, and now its less for more money, and sometimes the same dishes we order taste different or they shorten the amount of meat to the dish. It's even funny at times. I really hope you all work on these minor issues because we we definitely want to continue coming but money is tight and we like consistency, good prices, friendly environment, & the hometown atmosphere it use to.have on every visit, as we really enjoy Cancun!UPDATE February 2024: Service from staff has gotten MUCH BETTER, and we have had no issues after coming back numerous times almost every weekend when it's sports season time!Kid-friendliness: Kids meal options available, current kids' meals are FREE on Saturday!”

“Restaurant is usually very busy, which is a good thing! Shakes are always amazing and the food is what you'd expect from a small, locally owned location. The only negative is that it sits a few feet away from the street which is generally loud - not the restaurant's fault. I'd definitely recommend it for sweet desserts!”

“The local Henderson pizza place everyone enjoys. Gets really load when full and service is usually good but slower. The pizza is a thin crust crispy throughout the small 2” square slices. “This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant. The food there is always great and delicious. The hibachi chicken is one of my favorites and I love the appetizers too. The staff there were super friendly to me and my friends. Also, it has some Chinese song playing in the background, which sounds interesting. Definitely will come back again!”

“Very nice selection and the food was pretty good. My only complaint would be the crab rangoon....it wasn't real sweet like Ive learned to enjoy at most other places. Prices were good.....$39 for 3 adults at dinner.”
