We always request her as our server. Shelby has excellent bourbon and food knowledge, provides first class service and makes every dinner fun and enjoyable. She is half the reason we go to OBC Kitchen. Shelby is simply amazing. Thank you Shelby!“

“The secret of this place, that no longer seems to be a secret, is the way they treat you when you are there. The burgers are the best in town and so are the fresh cut fries. Overall, it’s the people that work there and the way the treat you. It is a total experience. My “Go to” place EVERY TIME!! Friggin love it!!“

“This would have been 5 ☆ because the food, drinks, and atmosphere were amazing. The service, however, was not stellar. Our drinks were forgotten. One meal came out way earlier than the other three. They were out of their signature burgoo. But the manager came over without being summoned, apologized for the service, and gave us some desserts, which were amazing, by the way. We started with the start corn dip, and it was fabulous. I had the pasta salad. It was SO good. My husband had the cheese steak, and it was one of the best I have had. The patty melt was delish, and the chicken wrap was really good. it only came out wrong. He had ordered fried chicken in it, and it came out grilled. He said it was still really good. Cheesecakes were given to us, and the pieces were HUGE and delicious! I highly recommend the food here. I, however, can't guarantee the service. . Eat, drink and be awesome!!“

“Stopped in The Jockey last night and had a great experience. Drinks prices weren't inflated because of the location. Right in the middle of downtown. Bartender was super friendly and attentive. Got a pizza from Rise Up Pizza kitchen (a separate entity apparently) and it was amazing! Will definitely return asap. I'm a Lexington native and will definitely be a new "regular" Highly recommend“
