Music was great, food was better! Started with Esoresso Martinis $20, expensive until you see they are twice as big as most places and delicious, next the Gorgonzola salad with candied pecans and balsamic, Italian bread & my wife had the pasta special (sausage & beef tortellini with vodka creme sauce) and I had the bolognese with beef/veal. So good! We will be back!
My wife and I went out to dinner and it was fantastic. Our gnocchi appetizer was solid, and she got a dinner special of chicken rigatoni and I got the spaghetti bolognese. Both meals were delicious and the cream sauce for the bolognese came out perfect. Service was very good. Suggest a reservation as this place seems to have many regulars and quite a crowd most days. From the moment we entered, I knew this was a special place. The service, atmosphere, and the food were all 5 star. We were in town to run a 5K at Run the Bluegrass and called last minute for a reservation. We got in within 30 minutes and were definitely so glad we called. It was the best spaghetti bolognese I've ever tasted. Portions are huge! I can't wait to return whenever I'm back in Lexington!
