This cake looked identical to the inspiration I sent her from Instagram. I have been ordering custom birthday cakes for 16 years, and this was the best one yet! It was the prettiest cake I have ever seen in person and the taste! Wow! I’m pretty sure it was baked fresh this morning. The cake didn’t even need icing it tasted so good. This is my new go to! “Stop by for breakfast they did not disappoint. My Shrimp and grits was flavorful with charred sun-dried tomatoes, andouille sausage! My husband got his usual 3 eggs over easy, sausage links, potatoes and toast with coffee. Service was attentive and pleasant.“

“Had a horrible first time experience here. Service was Horrible. Sat at the Bar. Ordered dessert. Got it. Then after that i felt ignored took forever to take my main order. I finally Ordered crab fries and entree. Waited... And waited.. family of four sat next to me at the bar . They ordered. They barely waited. Then they got their appetizers and main entree before I did. And mind you, I had ordered CRAB FRIES and SCALLOPS!!! HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COOK CRAB FRIES AND FREAKIN SCALLOPS!!! AARRGHHH!.. anyway I told them I was leaving they tried to comp the meal which still wasn't ready, but I told them no thanks and paid for my drink and dessert and left.A year went by I gave it a second chance and it was decent, service way better, and food was great. “Love the vibe and the food here. Casual and classy, with a very well done upscale burger. While I enjoy seeing burgers that are different, if given the option I will always go for a classic cheeseburger and this place doesn’t disappoint. Well cooked and with proper proportions to meat, cheese and bread. Fries are good (a little chewy for them to be great) but the ketchup hides that well. The chili is a sweet with cinnamon flavors which can be off putting if you are expecting a southern chili, but a very good one if you like the flavors.“

“LBV hosted a brunch and then an evening party the same week as Breeders Cup (which we didn’t know about.) Working with Ruth was very easy - she is adaptable and accommodating - seems to be unflappable, a great quality for a caterer. Her staff was professional and welcoming to guests. The menu was creative, and all the guests ranted and raved about the food. Would highly recommend LBV/Ruth and her staff - they did a fabulous job!“

“Quaint, but popular cafe and market. There was a small line ahead of us, but it moved relatively quickly. There were market items and baked goods upon entry, but we didn't purchase. We ordered artichoke appetizer, two po boys and beingnets. There was a full house, but we found seating in the back. Food arrived promptly, hot and fresh. Everything was to our liking and we enjoyed the view as this is situated between two pastures.“

“All I can say is I arrived hungry and left stuffed having eaten so much because I couldn’t stop eating the food it was so delicious. I got one of the soup curry specials and it blew me away. I was not expecting it to be that good but I was so full leaving, my stomach hurt for the day after. Lots of rich flavors and the serving size was too much to handle (in a good way). Thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to go back someday.“

“Olive Garden is always one of my favorites. The best service and the best food. I have dined at a lot of different Olive Garden locations and none of them have been disappointing. During this trip we dined as a family with 6 people present. The pricing was not bad considering how many people we had in our party.“

“The pho is very good. On par with some of the best I've tried. Definitely on a tier of great pho.The vietnamese rice plates are exceptional as well. About as good as it can get.The dining atmosphere is pretty nice. Alot nicer than what I'm used to at pho restaurants. Modern and clean atmosphere.Service is great. Quick and attentive.Only thing I wasn't a big fan of were their prices and portions. The portions were less than what I was expecting for the price.“

Cocktails are alright, but not out of this world or anything.“

“This was our first time in Lexington. We picked The Tulip Bistro and Bar because it was close to our hotel. The service and food was simply awesome. The braised short ribs were incredibly tender and flavored to perfection. The salmon was a very large piece cooked just right. We then finished dinner off with the creme brulee. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Dana, our server, was wonderful.“

Idk whether it's spelt "Christy" or "Kristy" in her case, but she is a very sweet waitress and is always brightening my visits. She gives me better customer service than not only anybody who's ever waited on me at Puccini's, but better than anybody who's ever waited on me anywhere I have been out to eat. I totally recommend you go there and support her as someone who can give the same type of service to you.“

“We live close to Sam Sushi and come here every couple of weeks. Their food is consistently amazing!!! Their sushi is always fresh, the octopus salad is the best I have ever had (and the only place in Lexington with a similar salad), and their ramen is always delicious. Although we always carry out, the service has always been timely and polite. They have never gotten an order wrong. While their food is great, the most impressive part is the consistency....they always get it right!“
