“This is definitely a new favorite for us! Keep in mind that they only have one server at the moment so be patient. The atmosphere is really cool and the food was SOOO GOOD!We ordered the tostones ceviche, octopus, chicken croquettes, beef short rib empanadas, Cuban sandwich with fries and house Sangria. The empanadas weren’t our favorite, but that was only because everything else was so amazing. The octopus is VERY much worth the price. Very excited to go back and try the Paella.“

“An Upscale CheddarsOur first time at J Alexander’s to celebrate a college graduation. My understanding and expectations of the restaurant set my opinions high only to have a lackluster experience. I wouldn’t not recommend the restaurant, justknow what to expect. In my mind and after reading the menu I assumed this was a high end steak house with a heavy French influence. Most others at our table ordered lunch friendly entrees and everyone was very satisfied with their meal. I had the steak and fries and I do have some thoughts.1. The lower quality steak (as I expected) really needs some sort of sauce to accompany it with the fries. A simple chimichurri or hollandais would have made this meal 10x better.2. One of the first times I have experienced this, in the menu it makes this statement: “WE DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL RESPECTFULLY NOT GUARANTEE ANY MEAT ORDERED ‘MEDIUM WELL’ OR ABOVE.” A statement like that makes me think this kitchen must really know their stuff. I ordered my steak Medium Rare… and I will let you be the judge if the steak was cooked correctly or if I am blowing everything out of proportion.The carrot cake was some of the best cake I’ve eaten… period. Cudos to the pastry chef.Staff was very nice and facility’s were sanitary.We did have a party of 10 and it was a little bit of a squeeze I would have liked to have had a better seating situation.When we return again I will have my expectations lowered and I believe I will have much better experience. If you want a steak go to Malone’s, but for anything else check this place out!Parking: Inside a large shopping community. Building is not connected, but people will park in shared lot to visit multiple stores.“

“My Family and I were in town in March and all visited the Sage Rabbit for an afternoon event. John and his staff were great and their service was spot on. Their burger, noodle salad and homemade tortellini were fantastic and each of us loved our meal and time at his restaurant. I would highly recommend visiting, saying hello to the Team and enjoying one heck of a meal.“

“food was wonderful. Initial table was not great but the hostess gave us another table near the bar on the patio. Also we were not pleased to see the surcharge for using a credit card. Seems like a restaurant of this caliber would eat the cost of the charge or slightly raise the prices. Husband had a burger that he said was excellent. I had the shrimp pasta and it was wonderful“

“If I could give this place 10 Stars I would! My husband and I were traveling back home to Michigan after our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park. We had a fun afternoon of burbon drinking after camping and Desperately needed something to eat. Unfortunately, it was so late everything was closed. In a last ditch effort we spontaneously asked a passing local of ANY WHERE we could eat He immediately pointed us to Minglewood. We arrived an hour before close and quickly and apologetically ordered a couple cocktails and some food. I had the pimento hamburger and GIRL LEMME TELL YOU!!! Iv never had a hamburger more delicious in my entire life! It doesn’t stop there, we then had the absolute pleasure of meeting the LADY BOSS (maybe the owner? I was pretty tipsy by then lol) She was AMAZING and after bonding of chef life and hearing how much I love chicken wings, she suggested they had the BEST and proceeded to make us an order HERSELF even tho they were pretty much closed! OH. MY. ACTUAL. GOSH…SHE WAS NOT WRONG! I can’t tell you how serious I am when I tell you these were the BEST wings Iv ever had!! We are going to be camping in Smoky Mountains National Park for New Years weekend and have planned our trip specifically to include a stop here again for those wings! “We stopped in here on New Year's Eve afternoon for a couple of drinks before heading to our hotel for the evening. Jack and Donna were both amazingly nice folks. They made us feel very comfortable and we enjoyed our conversation with them. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area.“

“Al's is a great local spot for loud music, cheap drinks, and strong women... or some combination of the above. It's also the only place I play a decent round of pool! For a 'dive bar', it also has exceptionally clean restrooms.“

“My mom and her fiancé drove in from Gulf Shores, AL to attend my son’s (her grandson’s) college graduation from UK. I was able to book them 2 night at the Clarion for the event. After Saturday’s commencement, we wanted to celebrate. My mom and her fiancé were so impressed with Sedona Taphouse from the previous evening, that they treated us to an early dinner along with some drinks there. It was amazing from the appetizers to the drinks to the entrees. Our server was a delight, but we also had the pleasure of meeting the GM, Ben as he came over to not only check on us, but to shake my son’s hand and personally congratulate him on his achievement. He really made a big deal about his accomplishment and even went as far to pay for his meal, drinks and dessert. So unexpected! Ben went above & beyond and that food and atmosphere was outstanding. We frequent Lexington often, I’ve found my new spot for lunch or dinner. Thank you Ben!! We can’t thank you enough for making Mason’s special day even more memorable.“

“Staff was amazing! Greeted w a smile and made our bowls swiftly and very tasty! As soon as there was no one in line they immediately started cleaning the food line to be ready for next guest. You are very blessed to have a staff that is energetic and will to go over and above. Many restaurants have some very lazy employees . “Was an awesome stay, rooms was very clean and Juana from room service did an excellent job keeping fresh towels stocked up for us, bed made, etc. But the all star of my stay was Abbey at the restaurant bar. She recommended the burger which was large and awesome along with beverages, she was very attentive, detail oriented, knowledgeable and friendly. I wish everyone that worked at the Marriott were like this and very well informed. The free bourbon tastings from 4-6 was a cool thing I have never experienced before.“

“We stared with drinks at the bar, so good and tasty! A great selection options from beers, mixes, and bottles. At dinner, the staff was superb! So friendly. All the food was wonderful, hot and tasty. My only disappointment was how loud yhe room was getting. It started to get difficult to have a conversation across our table. We loved everything about 33 Staves, but Fiday or Saturday night may not be the best times to go due to the volume levels. It really comes down to what atmosphere you are comfortable with.“
