And glad we did!Think cozy coffee shop, but replace the coffee with Hot Chocolate. And there's a bunch of different flavors to try. I personally reccomend the Snickerdoodle flavor. Delicious!And they do have other drinks available, but as I don't drink coffee, their Hot Chocolate is perfect for me!If you're in the area, with some time to kill, check them out. “I was having a hard time finding the location so I called(between Genoa and Moda) . The owner answered and was so pleasant! I came right in, they explained their menu and helped me through all the options. I choose tropical fruit smoothie w greens added. I also got a complimentary tea! The smoothie is more like a shake and was subtle in flavors, which I enjoyed! I’ll be back! I mentioned them getting a flag put outside so that their store is more visible and the owner was very open to the idea!“

He was also able to tell me a ton of details about each bourbon, which I really appreciated. Definitely worth trying this place out!“

“Decided to stop by and check out this cool stand. The tables were packed with patrons but the line was short. Each treat is made to order, so be prepared to wait. The smaller size: Chico, was more than enough. The ice was so smooth and the treat was so yummy. I selected green apple, lemon, and orange. A straw and color change spoon was inserted and the treat was served in a wide styrofoam cup.“

We only had time for a pour each but even though the brewery was busy, we were greeted promptly upon walking in and served quickly. When we are in Lexington again, we will stop by again!“

While I enjoy seeing burgers that are different, if given the option I will always go for a classic cheeseburger and this place doesn’t disappoint. Well cooked and with proper proportions to meat, cheese and bread. Fries are good (a little chewy for them to be great) but the ketchup hides that well. The chili is a sweet with cinnamon flavors which can be off putting if you are expecting a southern chili, but a very good one if you like the flavors.“

“My Family and I were in town in March and all visited the Sage Rabbit for an afternoon event. John and his staff were great and their service was spot on. Their burger, noodle salad and homemade tortellini were fantastic and each of us loved our meal and time at his restaurant. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Kentucky history and particularly about Henry Clay (almost too much). We were disappointed that the cafe was closed (even though it should have been open according to the hours posted).“

“I've been going to Suttons since 2010 and I must say they never disappoint. I can't say enough about the place. From Michelle behind the bar to the cooks in the back... the service is top notch. And as for the food, everything on the menu is fantastic! You get your money's worth with their portions. Their Chicken Parmesean is my personal favorite. I love the marinara, they have the best l've ever eaten. I really do miss their mussels and I hope and pray they bring them back very soon. My advice to anyone in the Lexington area would be to stop in and give Suttons a try. You won't be disappointed.“

“Boonedogs is one of the best local dives in Lexington. They have great food and incredible drinks. The service is fantastic whether you sit inside or outside at the picnic tables or firepit. You can play cornhole or volleyball during the warmer seasons. It is a great environment for kids and dogs, a date night, or a night out with friends. It's well worth the beautiful drive into horse country to eat there.“

“If I could give this place 10 Stars I would! My husband and I were traveling back home to Michigan after our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park. We had a fun afternoon of burbon drinking after camping and Desperately needed something to eat. Unfortunately, it was so late everything was closed. In a last ditch effort we spontaneously asked a passing local of ANY WHERE we could eat He immediately pointed us to Minglewood. We arrived an hour before close and quickly and apologetically ordered a couple cocktails and some food. I had the pimento hamburger and GIRL LEMME TELL YOU!!! Iv never had a hamburger more delicious in my entire life! It doesn’t stop there, we then had the absolute pleasure of meeting the LADY BOSS (maybe the owner? I was pretty tipsy by then lol) She was AMAZING and after bonding of chef life and hearing how much I love chicken wings, she suggested they had the BEST and proceeded to make us an order HERSELF even tho they were pretty much closed! OH. MY. ACTUAL. GOSH…SHE WAS NOT WRONG! I can’t tell you how serious I am when I tell you these were the BEST wings Iv ever had!! We are going to be camping in Smoky Mountains National Park for New Years weekend and have planned our trip specifically to include a stop here again for those wings! Although Beth’s gyro was only ‘good’, my moussaka was excellent - homemade, creamy and with the expected eggplant base. I’d recommend going for the Greek Specialties rather than Greek fast food - what they make is excellent.“
