“Paseo is a hidden gem on Baxter Avenue in Louisville's Highlands. You can dine outside overlooking the boutique hotel Myraid's pool or indoors in the airy, spacious restaurant where you can watch the chef preparing dishes or enjoy the California-style ambiance with your party. The spring salad's presentation was picture perfect and the taste delicate. The delicious hummus served with vegetables and flatbread was perfect. The service was just right - efficient without hovering. The only disappointment was a mocktail - refreshingly pink with cut lime but the taste was bland. Look forward to returning.“

And the waiter that we had was very polite and was on top of everything that we needed. The restaurant is nice on the inside and has a lot of seating and a lot of room for everybody to sit. They serve chips and salsa and bean dip and guacamole dip even chorizo dip for the whole table and you don't have to pay for that. But if you're not careful you will fill up on the chips and dips first before I even getting your food. The only thing I really didn't care for was that when you say you want a Coke for your drink they give you a glass with ice in it and a canned Coke which that's not a problem per se however I would much rather in prefer the soda dispenser myself. But all in all this restaurant was a really good place to eat.“

“Sooo good. This was our first visit and rarely do I eat out and immediately want to leave a review. I had the vegetarian fajitas nachos and it was perfect. I usually want sour cream but this was perfect without it. The veggies, beans and cheese were evenly distributed, fresh snd flavorful. My husband ordered the stuffed poblano peppers with chicken, rice and refried black beans. He was impressed as well and the black beans may be the best refried beans I've ever had. We are visiting and renting out an Airbnb down the road, we initially drove to another Mexican restaurant close by but there was absolutely zero parking (not because they were busy, just because there wasn't anywhere to park!) and so we just came back to our rental and walked to this one. We were settling for it but we soon realized this wasn't just second choice, it should have been our FIRST choice! Every bit of the meal was delicious and authentic, the chips were thick, flakey and melt in your mouth. The salsa came out warm and addictive. Cheese sauce? Thick and hit the spot. My friend enjoyed a MASSIVE burrito and some chicken tacos, and I enjoyed the steak fajitas. She said those tacos were the best she's had and she quite enjoys her authentic Mexican tacos. Those fajitas were definitely the best I've had, tender juicy, and perfectly marinated. I am quite miffed I haven't found a place this good where we live. Low-key jealous actually...
