Perfect for Us. Food was exceptional and quickly served. Service was polite, helpful and not intrusive. Every bite elicited nods of approval across the table. “Excellent choice for an anniversary dinner, my dear. And-by the way-you look amazing.”
I have only gotten delivery / pickup from Shalimar - hopefully I can remedy that in the near future - but the food is always outstanding and the individuals who work there couldn’t be nicer.

There are many Indian restaurants in Louisville, and Shalimar IS THE standard. The richness of their food can not compare to anyone else's. The Tikka Masala is the best I have had by far. Shalimar is one of the first Indian restaurants in Louisville, and they still stand proud. Don't pass an opportunity to check them out.
