“Dined here in early July. The food is to die for (especially a curry-style dish on the menu when we visited), the service is excellent (and not too hurried), and the ambiance is charming. The bread is also out of this world. The wine pairings also nicely complement the food, and the desserts are definitely worth having (especially the drunken banana cake). It is one of the nicest special occasion restaurants in Louisville. One caveat of interest to certain diners is the restaurants lax policy on pets. When we dined there, another table came in with a small dog. It wasn't a service or support dog because the diners kept passing it around the table, and even that table's server petted it. The dog's presence didn't bother us (it was well-behaved and quiet), but I could see some diners not enjoying dinner with a dog at the next table.“

“Sway is hands down one of the best restaurants in downtown louisville. The fried chicken is magical and the mashed potatoes are to die for. We are always served by Fatima who is just an overall amazing server who makes us feel like family. Definitely a must try if you're a local or visiting the “

“We stopped here as part of an awesome food tour and had the gravy train with biscuit bites. It was divine! The biscuit bites are impossible to put down…so, so good!“

“We went today I will say it was ok. The sausage gravy we did not like the scrambled eggs were cold with hard pieces in them. The biscuits and blackberry jam was yummy hot chocolate was cold.“

“If I could give it more stars, I would. This restaurant was one of the culinary highlights of our Derby trip. We stumbled upon this restaurant 30 minutes before the door sign said they closed. This did not stop any of the staff from offering us excellent service. We had a 4 course meal and had personal recommendations from the beverage manager. The wine selection was great and the Cabernet -Sangiovese he recommended was stunning. The food was delicious and the Desserts!!- Oh my word, I'm almost speechless! You cannot go wrong with the Nutella Mousse and the Pecan pie was delicious as well. We actually had leftovers and they were still just as great reheated (entrees) and pulled from the fridge (desserts). We would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to return“

“Our bartender, Kristin was absolutely phenomenal! She was quick and pleasant to be around. She was so busy and the only one bartending on the Levvy side this past weekend. She had a group of 4 of us on top of the other customers and a wedding! She killed it! Her drinks are *chefs kiss*. This was my first time ever coming here and I will ABSOLUTELY be back. Especially for that cornbread!!“

“Our server was very knowledgeable and that added to the experience as well( I regrettably can’t recall her name) she was wearing gummy bear earrings and I hope management values her knowledge, friendly demeanor. :)Such an incredible experience. Came into the restaurant and the service and atmosphere were incredible very professional and pleasant staff. Which is easier said than done. Incredible food and all put together so well. Already so excited to come back.The macha dessert wasn’t our favorite but the other dessert ? was simply stellar. “7/3/16 it was absolutely wonderlicious ? i had wings...cheese corn....collard greens and some spicy pickles on the side omg it was DELICIOUS! !!! service was great ! Very friendly and fast ....i will be back for sure ....i also had bread pudding alamode ?it was enough that 4 of us shared it ❤❤❤❤❤❤Update a friend and I ordered wings last night . She had never had the smoked wings before. We also got the bread pudding for dessert. It was fantastic. The wings as always were plump juicy and smoked to perfection. The side of bbq sauce was the cherry on the cake. I can't say enough about the quality. The bread pudding was delicious OMG . I AM A FOODIE/ GROUPIE AND I LOVE TURNING PEOPLE WHO LOVE GOOD WING ONTO MOMMAS. I ordered wings green beans coleslaw and a side salad. The wings were SO salty it ruined them. The green bean were sweet?? Never have I ever had sweet green beans. The side salad was good. The slaw had to be old it had a sour outdated taste. I had diarrhea a few minutes after getting home. I'm not sure if I will ever be back to this location. Use to be one of my favorites. My waitress was very nice though.Parking: Be careful parking in Walgreens parking lot. They have tow away signs now . Also restricted on street parking loading zones 1 hour limit. A real pain !“

“Franco's food is always great! However, the service has fallen off a bit! I will still continue to go there because there are just some things you cannot get at soul food restaurants that they tend to specialize in. The atmosphere is great, the place is just small. So, I take my food to go every time. Also I use a rollater walker so it is difficult for me to move around when the restaurant is very crowded as it was when I was there.Parking: The parking lot can get kind of tight when the restaurant is very crowded.“

“The food is absolutely amazing! I’ve been there a few times and it is always great. Today I took my sister-in-law and she was blown away by how great the food was! You cannot get better chicken any where and the sides are great.Our waiter, River was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We also met Hollis who was from corporate and he was very attentive as well. We will be back again and again!Vegetarian options: All of the sides are wonderful and the menu states that the greens contain pork. The sides are so good, you can definitely make a meal out of them.“

“I was leaving from a friend's birthday celebration when I decided to stop in. I've passed by this corner for years, but I've never stopped in. My friend didn't have any food at his gathering, so I thought I would stop and check this place out.The lone woman came to the window and waited on me and one other woman (they seemed to know each other), she was polite, but I could tell she was tired. I order the "6-piece wings" special "with wedges and a roll" - and when there weren't wings ready, she was nice enough to substitute a thigh in there for me. I also got a 12 oz can of Diet Pepsi. The portion was good, and everything was hot and fresh. The wings were crispy and delicious, and though I'm not usually a fan of wedges, I enjoyed these potatoes.The only thing I take issue with was that the other workers who are employed by this business are apparently too lazy to show up to the job; that's why the one woman who was there (hat's off to you, sis! Keep up the good work!) appeared to be so tired. Perhaps the owner of this business will see the wisdom of replacing them with people who want to work! I don't live in the Louisville's West End, but I may pay another visit next time I'm in the area.“

“We has a late check in and were met with southern hospitality. We got a king premium room with a great view of the city...blackout curtains were very nice and easy to use. Added bonus, it was very spacious and after a long day of driving it was great to have a soft, comfortable, clean room especially when traveling with a small child. Great price comfortable consistent stay. Warm and friendly attentive service. There was a issue with our bill and Wanda the General Manager took care of everything. Staff was well traveled and hospitalable. Lovely stay.“

“Our server was very helpful and polite. Even the host that seatef us held the door open for me as I'm in a wheelchair. My only complaint is that it isn't wheelchair accessible. It has a ramp but you need help opening doors.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited. Wish they had automatic door opening.“
