“As a guest and as an employee, I have really enjoyed my time at the Don Jockey. From the quality of the food, service, and ownership I have found a great respect for the business and the clientele that wander in day by day.Always looking forward to a Margarita and a Taco Loco!Vegetarian options: From the enchiladas, quesadillas, pasta, burritos, a salad, and fajita options for vegetarians. For the sides, street corn, black beans, and the famous vegetable casserole that consists of sautéed zucchini, squash, onions and tomatoes, then topped with blended cheese and a sour cream mix. What's not to love?As for vegans! A lot can be tweaked and accommodated.Dietary restrictions: It is always the best thing to let your server know of any dietary or allergic needs.Parking: A lot of parking, come before 5 and you'll get a great parking spot, there will still be options a little further down each way. That's why having Don Jockey in the center of Midway helps with less walking.Kid-friendliness: So many boosters and high chairs, casual and uplifting environment.Wheelchair accessibility: Being on the first floor helps everyone, chairs can be removed and you can sit at any table. Also, with wheelchair accessible bathrooms.”

“Surprised my fiance with a special birthday dinner. There were 4 in our party, and we all had an outstanding dining experience. Everything was prepared perfectly, and our waiter, Conner, was great. We'll definitely be back on another special occasion!”

“Don't take the lower atmosphere rating fool you ... this is still a great place to visit. They're just more of a take out kind of place, with inside seating for about 8. In good weather, you can sit on the patio out back. The food is typically fantastic. I had a ham (country), egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin today. They did not disappoint!Parking: Most parking is in a lot, lower from the entrance and off to the side. They technically have handicap parking, but not sure you'd want to bring a wheelchair.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the sweets, but with limited seating inside and no visible high chairs, maybe not a great place to stop and eat.Dining in could be different with eating outside. There are some old play equipment installations outside from when it was a school.Wheelchair accessibility: Technically yes, but limited, and not without difficulty. The bathroom I think would NOT be wheelchair accessible.”
“Charming coffee shop on main stop in Midway. Cozy exposed brick walls and a fireplace! I had a Chai and it was delicious! Definitely a recommended stop if you’re in Midway!”
“Got married over the weekend, had the Spotz truck come out to the venue to serve our guests. What a hit it was! Had four unique flavors that everyone raved about. Prompt, courteous, professional. Thanks so much for making our big day even better!”

“I was introduced to Gibson's some time ago by my fiance and I was greatly impressed. They are, in my opinion, more of a high end yet casual place to dine. Prices can be a little high on some menu items, but when you serve food as well prepared as they do then the price of those particular menu items is definitely justified. My favorite item is the chicken parmesan.”

“Took another trip to Midway, this time to eat at the Goose and Gander!! It was great! The food was amazing, I had the grilled pork chops with apple butter and a side of mashed potatoes with gravy and stewed apples. The Mrs had the fried chicken club and it was huge. The couple with us had the hot brown and the Goose cubano! When we return for another visit we will have to try the pizza, so many tables were enjoying the pizza selections!”

“This McDonald's has consistently been the highest quality McDonald's in the area for the past few years. Every time I go there I always get exactly what I ordered and the staff are usually very friendly. Of course you must consider that this review is based solely on the service of this location as all McDonald's have the same taste more or less. This location, however, has always prepared my meal to high McDonald's standards... As high as they can get at least lol.”

“The service was top notch. The young man was very polite and the establishment was clean. I will definitely return to this location. For the most part the food was top notch. ? This visit to a subway was probably by far one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a while. Customer service still has a way to go to be back at what it once was.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of options available to choose from.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible by wheelchair.”

“Coming thru from Cleveland, Ohio it's was well worth the stop! We sampled pretty much everything, and it was all very good! Bacon wrapped Hotdogs as a special were a hit, Mac and cheese, beans, coleslaw as sides didn't last with the kids. Brisket, pull pork and ribs all great as well! Washed down with some raspberry lemonade with a splash of sweat tea!”

“This is not the first time that I've eaten here, but it was unique. Somehow, my ticket was lost, so after seeing a couple of people that arrived after me receive their orders, I went to the window. The man promptly made my order and made it right by adding an extra patty to the Classic burger that I ordered and gave me some of their burger sauce to dip my fries in.It's the best burger around, including Lexington. The only issue I have with the atmosphere is that there is not enough outdoor seating, but I understand that there's only so much real estate on their corner of the lot. I send everyone here and will continue to, as well as eat here every time that I'm in Georgetown.”

“Julie our server was outstanding! The beverages, appetizers, entrees and desserts were top notch. Rodney and the staff were awesome - they held our reservation for 2 hours as we were late getting there from the KY Oaks. Rodney's on Broadway is a “hidden” gem!”

“Hidden Gem alert!! First off- the prices are an incredible value. My son and I stopped by early to watch the horses train and stumbled across this amazing place. The staff are so friendly and the food is exactly what you want on a crisp spring morning. They are here to provide food for the many folks of Keenland, but we were welcomed and felt right at home dining. If you are a horse aficionado or just a novice the restaurant had picture of horses and jockeys scattered on the walls and a rich history of Keenland.Don't let the nice price fool ya...this is southern cooking at its finest!!Vegetarian options: They have different options.Dietary restrictions: They make orders fresh so this is easy to accommodateParking: East parking access.Kid-friendliness: They are kiddo friendly and have high chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard accessibility”

“Love love love El Tapatio! I grew up eating their food and it has always been wonderful and consistent. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve moved to Lexington in the past few years and tried to find another authentic Mexican restaurant… none compare to El Tapatio. Every time I come back to Versailles and eat here it’s been an absolute treat. The enchiladas are my favorite!”

“I can say food was good, but as my first time being there, i was expecting a little bit more mexican food, but it wasn't besides quesadilla who anyone can make at home. Still a good place to go out and share with family cant complain”
“Lots of options but the ordering is wonky. A person takes your order and then you drive up a few feet and wait awkwardly while someone else makes your drink. I have liked all drinks I've had, though, including the flavored sparkling water. We didn't love the shakes, though, but everything else was good.”

“My wife and I went to Fava’s for the first time this afternoon. It being Mother’s Day, they were super busy and had no tables available. A very nice gentleman let us know there was a bench outside if we wanted to wait and apologized for any inconvenience. We weren’t in any rush and it was a beautiful day, so we waited maybe 5-10 minutes and enjoyed the view of Georgetown’s Main St. a table opened up and we were notified. Everyone on staff was so polite from start to finish. We got our drinks when a table of six came in looking to be seated. We were asked if we would mind moving, which was no hassle, so we happily obliged. The same gentleman that was already apologetic about the wait told us we could each have pie on the house, which was already very gracious for what felt like small, if at all, inconveniences. We ordered two meals and the pretzels and beer cheese appetizer. Even with a packed house it only took a few minutes for the food to start rolling out to us. My wife and I commented on how flavorful the beer cheese was and before we knew it we had our food. Everything was delicious. I had a pretty basic order of chicken strips and fries and my wife had the open-faced roast beef. The chicken was lightly battered, flavorful, and crisp. My wife loved every bit of her order. We received our free pie at the end, one chocolate and one butterscotch. Absolutely wonderful. She was actually starting to leave a good review at that point because of how great the food was along with the staff being so friendly with us and everyone around us; but her phone died. We started to head to pay our check and our server let us know that the meal was comped due to the wait and moving tables. The gentleman that helped us in the beginning and checked on our experience a couple times throughout let us know that he didn’t want to charge for a subpar experience and thanked us for coming in today. Everything was already so pleasant to us, we were blown away. We will absolutely be returning, frequently. We can’t wait to try the breakfast!”

“We were on a work trip and randomly stopped here based on Yelp reviews. The restaurant is tucked back on a nice quaint road, which we later learned was on the Bourbon trail. Outdoor seating was perfect. My friend and I split the Wedge salad (not pictured) and I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Flavor was amazing! Staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely visit and try something else on the menu. Oh, and there are at least 200 bourbons on a separate menu! Check it out!”

“This has to be my favorite mexican food restaurant, hands down. They are always super nice, the restaurant is always clean. You may have a tad longer wait for your food, but it's always fresh and hot. Their food is pretty close to what I would consider authentic, especially for Kentucky. I sometimes want to other places, just for the sake of variety, but i always find myself coming back here because it's just really good Mexican food.”

“I can’t say enough good about this restaurant. The atmosphere was very cozy and well decorated. The bread they brought out was the best I’ve had at a restaurant. The shrimp and grits were perfect, the steak was perfect and the scallops and French fries were amazing. This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in the Lexington area.”
