“Amazing! Let’s start from the beginning, we were about 45 mins late for pickup and the owner offered to remake our pizzas even though WE were late. My husband went to get them and the man at the counter graciously gave us their homemade ranch to try.Then, we got home, and the garlic bread was TO DIE FOR. A little salty but it hit the spot. We also ordered the stuffed Hawaiianpizza and we were impressed. Great service and great people! We will be ordering again!”

“Jakes is always great! Very nice bar with a huge selection of bourbon. The humidor is packed with great cigars as well. The bar service is second to none. I've never had a bead time at Jake's!Vegetarian options: All cigars are vegetarian as far as I know. Lol”

“Stopped for takeout after we were visiting the Lexington area and on the way back to Cincinnati. We bought a load of Sonny's Sweet BBQ sauce and a couple of pork sandwiches for dinner that night. Sonny's closest location to Cincinnati is in Lexington (wish they would fix that). The food was very good and the service at the takeout counter was excellent. Hope to be back when back in the area.”

Honestly, I think no other bakeries in Lexington can beat them in terms of quality.My only complaint is they close at 5 pm while I want to go there even during nights, specially for desert after dinner, because I usually work until 5 pm.”

“I had a cinnamon bagel with the honey pecan cream cheese, it was okay, the cream cheese was good but the bagel is store bought I think, which is fine but $3.50 for a bagel is overpriced when a whole bag of bagels costs that much or you can go to the Panera Bread on Brannon crossing and get a fresh bagel for the same price including cream cheese.”

“Monos is my go to coffee spot for all things. It’s great to meet friends and have thoughtful conversations as well as business meetings discussing the latest trends and insights. The environment is welcoming and the coffee is absolutely delicious. You can tell the owner cares about the product and experience for the customer. I pass several coffee shops on my way to Monos and I’m more than happy to make the drive.”

“My fiancé and I always come back to this Bruster’s location for the BEST ice cream! It is THE place to go for ice cream in Nicholasville.Firstly, their flavours are all fresh, ever-changing and delicious! My favourite flavour of theirs by far is their Cotton Candy Explosion, which comes with popping candy. It changes colour throughout the year, but is always consistently delectable! Their M&M mixer is also quite the treat.For Valentine’s Day, I got a waffle cone (which was pink!) with my favourite cotton candy flavour, and tried their limited edition White Raspberry Truffle ice cream on top. I wish it was available all year ‘round! My fiancé tried their Strawberry Shortcake Bowl, and was blown away by it! Delicious strawberry shortcake-flavoured ice cream, real strawberries and jam, all topped off with a mountain of whipped cream and a cherry. He will definitely be ordering that again!The staff here are also so friendly. We saw one of the servers put the extra big mountain of whipped cream on top of the Strawberry Shortcake Bowl we ordered, and the care she put into its presentation was lovely to see!We will continue to come back here for some of the best ice cream around, and we can’t wait to see what new flavours arrive!Parking: There is lots of free parking both directly in front of the ice cream shop and around the area it is located in.Kid-friendliness: Ice cream! “This place never fails to deliver quality food and service, but for the love of everything stop forcing your employees to stand outside in the sun and take orders for drive-thru. I just want to order at the menu board and go home. The last thing I want to do when thinking about what to eat is have to ask to be handed that gross plastic menu that the person before me could have picked their nose before touching.Think of your namesake! Would you leave that poor dog out in the heat like you do your employees?! ?This has a certain generation of management written all over it. The “appearance” of elevated service with no actual benefits to anyone involved.”
