“I LOVE A GOOD DIVE BAR!!No food, but you can bring your own in or order food delivered. This is also a smoking bar. I don't like the smoke, but the friendly / welcoming environment and my love for a good dive bar had me take a seat. Had a couple drinks and bought a shirt. The locals in here were drinking hard so I was able to turn a tv to watch the football game I wanted. If you can handle the smoke & foul language, come check this place out. Leave your kids at home.I'll be back!“

“Jakes is always great! Very nice bar with a huge selection of bourbon. The humidor is packed with great cigars as well. The bar service is second to none. I've never had a bead time at Jake's!Vegetarian options: All cigars are vegetarian as far as I know. Lol“

“Love the vibe and the food here. Casual and classy, with a very well done upscale burger. While I enjoy seeing burgers that are different, if given the option I will always go for a classic cheeseburger and this place doesn’t disappoint. Well cooked and with proper proportions to meat, cheese and bread. Fries are good (a little chewy for them to be great) but the ketchup hides that well. The chili is a sweet with cinnamon flavors which can be off putting if you are expecting a southern chili, but a very good one if you like the flavors.“

“I had never been out on St. Patrick's Day. I went to O'Neills with a friend and we had a great great time. They had karaoke and a live band and I was really surprised at all the people that were there and the food they were serving was on one sheet of paper. This made sense because it was so crowded. You couldn't make all that food off of the regular menu so that was a good idea. They did good there.“

“Great food. Sushi and burgers are all great can't go wrong. Only thing to keep in mind is the kitchen hours listed aren't correct. the kitchen closes at 10pm. I feel bad because we got there at 945 and I didn't want to overwork the kitchen near end of shift but they were really nice and still did it. Great place. great music. “Everything at Honeywoood is done with such beautiful intentionality, like all of a Ouita Michel’s creations. It is no accident that you feel surrounded by Kentucky history, agriculture and the arts when you enter any of her establishments. The food is no exception. While she could not possibly be in all restaurants at the same time, she selects the best team members to represent her vision and values. We loved every part of our experience at Honeywood. Food: creamy grits and polenta, slow cooked greens, risotto, local beef and quail, fresh seasonal vegetables, crispy country ham, deviled eggs stuffed with lump crab???? AND those damn sweet potato beignets!!! Never disappoint. service is top notch, without all the fanfare of a fine dining restaurant. Wine list and craft cocktails are legit. Anything goes and we felt comfortable in fancy duds and blue jeans with a T-shirt (which you can purchase in any of her places as well as her cookbook). “This place is not really made for a large party. We had 10, and only 1 table would fit us. We did call ahead and they had the seating ready for us. The food was pretty good, not the largest portions. The Brisket Dip sandwich was probably the best of the table. The brussel sprouts were quite done (like burnt), so that was the only thing we had to send back. The staff took great care of us. Might go back for a party o 2 or 4, not larger.“
