“Food was great. This is a remodeled house where regular furniture is replaced with chairs and tables. The waitress was very familiar with the menu and I went with a group and we all ordered something different. So the table had a variety which was very good to all present. And the bread they bring to start was tasty!“

“I have always loved Briar Patch. Since it’s been under new management some things have changed…good and bad. The hoppin John soup is not as good as it used to be. However the salad bar is very good and fresh . Has always been. Don’t care for the croutons now. Not crunchy at all. The beverage glasses are larger now and much better. Steaks are amazing! Overall a very good place to eat at! Friendly waiters and food comes out very hot and fast!“

“The drinks are amazing, some of the best I ever had. I personally recommend the orange dreamsicle and the blue drink. The shakes looked very good too. They have appetizers and chicken in addition to their awesome drinks. It has a nice atmosphere and is a chill place to hang. They also occasionally do cool events like trivia or other things. Check it out, You won't regret it.“

“Well, I wish I would've taken pictures while I was there because the ones on here don't represent it very well. Food/Drink: For starters, I got there after the main kitchen closed so they only had fried food. It was pretty late, I didn't even expect them to have any food. I just had fries, and they were good. I didn't have any alcohol, because I no longer drink, but it sounded like unreasonably cheap prices for the most part, at least compared to where I'm from. They also have cans of soda, which is my preferred style. The menu isn't huge but I'd also prefer that over overwhelming. They have plenty for everyone. It is 21+ at all times. Pool: The 7 foot tables were in pretty good shape, definitely better than the average bar table for sure. I didn't get a chance to play on it because others were using it, but they just got a brand new 9 foot table with an awesome, square, huge LED light for the top of it! They also hold tournaments pretty often, so it would be a good place to play for a long time, one day, without having to commit to a league of any sort. Service/Atmosphere: It's small, what some might consider a dive bar, but I think it can be so much more! I say that because the service was phenomenal. The bartender was so sweet and funny and honest and kind. I needed it that night, so I am truly grateful. All of the folks that were in there were also really nice as well, which to me, speaks of how the business is run and the people that they attract to their business. I'll be back if for nothing else than to say hello if I don't have time to play, but only if I'm passing through the town of course, it's a couple hours away from home. P.S. (nothing to do with this review) Yelp, I don't know if you actually read these but for some reason when I put a "." the next letter after the space doesn't capitalize. Not a huge deal, but I like for my reviews to be as grammatically correct as I know how, and having to go back to correct those is just a little tedious. This is the only app that it happens, so I was just curious if anyone else had the problem as well. I'm on an iPhone 14 ProMax if that makes a difference.“

“Best bar in Owensboro! I love being able to sit down and have a conversation with my friends (and be able to hear them) and the staff exceeds my expectations every time. They go above and beyond to make sure every time I’m there is better than the last. They allow outside food to be brought it so you can to dine from the best surrounding restaurants while having an amazing drink with it.“

“Escaped Nashville for a weekend away in Owensboro and absolutely loved this spot!! The weather was beautiful, so we decided to spend our time out on the patio. There were multiple patio tables and games available for anyone to enjoy on a first come first serve basis. We got there at around 11, so it was pretty empty and we could pick whichever table. The service was friendly and attentive without being annoying. We got a flight of ciders, which were delicious, but we were seriously blown away with the food. I recommend the brisket nachos and the brisket grilled cheese. Both dishes were huge portions and absolutely delicious. I will for sure be back if I'm ever back in town!“

“Could have been a bad night but I can't recommend this place at this point. We went for a meal during burger week and after sitting for 2 hours with no food delivered to the table it was time to vacate the place. Wish them luck but not my buck.“

“Tried the bruschetta and pretzel bites with spicy cheese for appetizers, and ordered the sausagefest calzone for the main course. Everything was absolutely delicious!We sat at the bar, and the servers were very friendly as well. Recommended!“
