“Gwen was my server and she was excellent. She even made me tartar sauce for my shrimp. My food was very salty, but it was hot and fresh. There could have been some ambiance with music rather than vanilla with none. I would recommend just for the service. Well done.“

“The sandwich was not as fresh as it could be. The bun was a little soggy to me. The digital ordering process was good although it could be faster on it's response time. The overall look and feel is worn and outdated with even damage to the building that has been unrepaired for some time.“

“This was such a cute little restaurant. It came recommended by our Air B&B host. The doughnuts were delicious, and the cinnamon buns were awesome! Coffee was killer! The staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. We will for sure be back!“

“Ok…This spot is the REAL DEAL! I heard from locals on my last trip but didn’t get the opportunity to stop by! Prior to this visit to New Orleans I saw this establishment on ya Food Show and made this a ‘to-do’ on this visit! The interior is super dark and made me think..what y’all hiding in here? I’ll tell you what they hiding…The Best Burgers in New Orleans! The burgers are served with a baked potato! Both were yummy! The drinks offered come in regular and Jumbo…go for the jumbo…if you don’t finish you can get a to-go cup!Make this a spot to check out if you visit! The bar staff were chill and friendly! The space is small…there is some outdoor seating, but be prepared to wait at peak hours! There was a good balance of locals and tourists..so I felt this is a good sign of this place must serve good food consistently!“

“Easily in the top 3 of my favorite burgers. The fries are great too, very crisp and fresh. We ate here 3 times in 3 days. Albeit one time was just fries with mack sauce. I couldn't pass them up on the walk to our room.- Oklahoma friends“

“DELICIOUS! We had the Philly Cheesesteak & BBQ Beeph Beignets. The food was hot, fresh and so savory! It is not fast food, but the wait is worth it! You should definitely stop by and grab something. We’ll be back!“

“The burger was AMAZING. I had one with an egg on it and a side of chili for dipping fries. Best burger ever. It’s def a hole in the wall but it’s the perfect stop. Don’t let the appearance stop you, watching them hustle at the grill and then eating such a fantastic meal is worth it!!!“

“One of my favorite breweries (and definitely my favorite brewpub) in NOLA, and the only place I visited more than once in a recent trip. Beers exhibited a wide, thoughtful range, suitable for a beer aficionado or newcomer more interested in Southern food and barbecue (both of which were stellar). High-end service. Convenient to convention areas and hotels.Kid-friendliness: Accessible, but I didn't notice the kids' menu (wasn't looking while on business). But price point and atmosphere may not be the most suitable.“

“So glad we came here, based on the recommendations of a local friend. Great start with friendly greeting from hostess Stacy and then every recommendation from our server Quinn was on point!! The High Hat Burger and the Pimento Mac and Cheese was ?... 5 star meal right there! The pork on the Cuban sandwich was so tender and delicious ?. We were only in town for 2 days and had to come back to High Hat for the brunch (also recommend by Quinn), before we left. We had the Chicken and Waffle and Cornmeal Pancakes. They did not disappoint. We are leaving NOLA fat and happy ?. Thank you High Hat!! We'll definitely be back.“

“Came here for lunch during Mardi Gras weekend. My friends and I ordered the alligator creole and the redfish with creamy pesto crawfish pasta to share. I've never had alligator before and don't typically eat exotic meats but I tried a tiny piece of it just to say I've tried it before and it wasn't bad. It kinda tastes like chicken. My friends enjoyed it. The pesto pasta with crawfish was pretty good and creamy. Good amount of sauce and it came with a generous piece of redfish.“

“The best food very reasonably priced! The owner really values all of his customers. It was refreshing to have someone who goes above and beyond. Everything was hot and fresh the wait time wasn’t long for it to be made to order. Love everything about the hidden gem!!!“

“Great food, reasonable price, great service. The only thing that I would change is the fact that they don't have a tomato soup that is paired with their grilled cheese sandwich. When we ordered the grilled cheese, we were surprised that they did not have a tomato soup that went along with it. I think that is one big thing that is lacking from their menu.“

“Some of the best Vegan food I’ve ever had! We had the loaded Mac n’ Cheese and the Oyster Mushroom fried “chicken” sandwich along with cauliflower wings. Everything was fresh and the flavor was incredible. Great atmosphere with music from a speaker and friendly staff. Would absolutely recommend!“

“Stopped by Beachcorner last night. It was very busy and a little loud. There was a little wait for the food because it was only two gentlemen working which was totally understandable. There was one guy cooking the food and making drinks lol the great part was the customer service. These guys had a system set up and both worked well together. No matter how busy it would get, everyone was given great customer service and both gentlemen smiled the entire time. The burgers were good just not seasoned enough. Lol We still enjoyed everything. My friend ended up ordering more burgers to go. It was her first time. Thank you to the gentleman for making my green tea shot ?“

“I drove 3 1/2 hours because I'm flying out of New Orleans to Denver I drove another 20 minutes just to get the original burger I have not had a burger like this in decades. I've been known to drive for good food and this is well worth the drive just for the food.“

“I came down to New Orleans on a business trip from Shreveport, LA. This was our first stop in the city. I was looking for authentic New Orleans style food. This is NOT that. The food was good but not amazing. We arrived an hour before the restaurant closed. The cashier you can tell was ready to go but our server was real attentive and nice! Overall it’s a good spot to visit if you’re looking for a quick meal, I would return. I tried the Wedding Cake daiquiri as well, it was delicious.“

“Came thru one nite after my husband and I attended a wedding. I wish I had pic but I didn't order anything for me really. Just ate off my husband's roast beef po-boy that was nice size and good, my daughter had the cheese sticks they sell. Lordy!!! Definitely have to get some with any order. Lightly battered and so cheesy with authentic mozzarella! Open late for whatever your need may have been. We door dashed it to our hotel and their food was hot and fresh untampered with and still good for them to eat.“

“Fantastic little place to duck into for lunch. Service was a bit slow, especially considering there are only four tables, and there were two waitstaff. The burger was fantastic! I also highly recommend substituting the hand battered onion rings over the french fries.Parking: Plenty of parking available regardless of the time of day and it's all free!“

“I normally don’t eat burgers because I’m gluten free. Saw another review said they had great tasting gluten free buns. I gave it a go.Holy smokes. When that thing came out, I was stunned. It smelled heavenly, was gigantic. (Double chicken breast w added pickles and mushrooms.)Prices are incredible for the value. Chicken was well seasoned, and yes, the gluten free bread was the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Bun stayed together as it was eaten. Best burger experience I’ve ever had.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread accommodations. So good.“

“NOSTALGIC SMALL TOWN DRIVE UP DAIRY JOINT!! A DYING PAST-TIME . just seems like the owners minor kids doing a chore they're required through a 16×14 sliding glass , making communication hard when HWY-23 traffic is high, so there is no customer relationship. Constant light traffic and no locals seem to chat amongst themselves but food is fine , better than fast food, more options than fast food and a million sno cone flavor .. suppor local mom and pop!!! If you eat SOINC, DQ,BK,MCDONALD'S, WENDY'S DRIVE PAST THEM AND SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE BECAUSE IF YOU CAN EAT THAT STUFF THIS WILL BE ABSOLUTELY DELISH!+“

“I lived around the corner from here many many years ago and it was a good to place for very late night food and drink. Like open till sun up some days and food till 3 or 4. My first visit in decades.I had a delicious cheese burger right before midnight this weekend but was sad to learn they no longer catered to the people of the late night. And it was way too brightly lighted compared to the cave -like environment of the past.Oh well -“

“Title: Gattuso's: Where Food, Fun, and Fiascos Collide! Tucked away in the heart of Gretna, Louisiana, Gattuso's Neighborhood Restaurant, Bar & Catering is a culinary adventure with a side of hilarity. From the moment you step inside, you know you're in for a treat... and possibly a few unexpected laughs. Culinary Capers: Let's start with the food, because let's be real, that's why we're all here. Gattuso's serves up mouthwatering dishes that will make your taste buds do a happy dance. But here's the kicker: the portion sizes are so generous, you'll need a roadmap just to navigate your plate. Seriously, their "small" dishes could feed a small army, and we're not complaining. But it's not just the size that's impressive; it's the flavors that will have you singing praises. Their gumbo is so good, it could make a Cajun grandmother shed a tear of joy. And don't even get us started on the po'boys--they're so stuffed, you'll wonder if they accidentally mixed up your order with a Thanksgiving feast. Great food, great vibe and not too expensive!!!“

“The whole vibe of the place is amazing and extremely vibrant. Our waitress and the manager were so sweet and friendly. The manager Shaun had amazing stories about his travels with different bands; and you can tell that his job was really a passion for him. Plus our waitress gave us extra jalapenos on the nachos which was awesome. Love the place and the people so we'll definitely be going back.“

“We were in town for French quarter fest. Was searching for food places by the hotel when I found this little nugget. So good. It’s probably the best seasoned chicken I’ve ever had in my life. “This place was great! The food was delicious beyond expectations, and the prices were very reasonable. We aren’t fancy restaurant people, so the laid back easy atmosphere was fine for us. The staff was super friendly. And what’s better than sitting on a barstool right at the front windows watching people go down a dirty sidewalk in New Orleans? It will always be a favorite in NOLA.“

“The service was excellent. The atmosphere is kind of boring. The fake bacon bits in the salad are not what I expected. The baked potato was done well. I had the chicken breast which was good. I did like the little bit of topping sauce for the chicken on the side. The garlic bread was good too.“
