“Small restaurant in a strip mall. Very busy for a weekday lunch. Ordered to go. Food was almost ready when I arrived. Server obviously had her hands full with to go and tables, still very pleasant. Ordered a kids beef burrito meal ($8.99) and an adult Enchiladas La Loca with green sauce ($11.99). Both entrees were very good in flavor and ample in portions. Chips and salsa came with the order, and the salsa had a nice kick to it. To go charge of 99 cents was added, which I think is reasonable, since I"ve worked in the restaurant business and know the cost of to go items is not negligible. In fact, I'd rather pay a to go charge than have the cost of the items on the menu go up and I have to pay an inflated price because of to go orders (and Uber Eats, and Door Dash...). Now, it would have been nice if there had been TWO sets of plasticware included. We will be back for more to go.“

“This El Paso was ok. It was nicely decorated inside. They were setting up a band on Thursday that I went. So they must have music all weekend. Food came out extremely fast. Took a bit to get drink and then menu, but it wasn't bad. I would go again, if for nothing but the drinks and music. The steak Chimichanga was good as always.“

“Food portions were good for the price. Got the trio cheese dip and guac were good, the salsa was ok but had kind of an odd taste. The beef burrito ingredients weren't mixed that well. First 1/3 was too much meat and dry tasting. Middle was good, them the last bit was 90% beans. Service was ok. Kind of slow to come back to my table and rarely checked in. But once I ordered the food came out quickly.“

“This was a nice find. The outdoor eating space is quaint and has a wonderful atmosphere. The food was good but a little pricey for what you get. I had the braised pork tacos which were really tasty. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and we shared some chips and queso. We each had a margarita, her Jalepeno and me strawberry. Bill was just over 50.00 with tip. Give Barracuda a try, I think you will like it.“

“I really wanted to hate this place. Another hipster gentrifying the neighborhood with their pseudo-ethnic cuisine. This rich boy, Banksy buying, carpet bagger…. I so very much wanted to hate it. But I couldn’t. It was just too good. The food was delicious. The prices were just right. The authentic tile work and gas station bathroom were absolutely delightful. The servers were raw and righteous. The way the owner spoke…. The little frogs…. The whole vibe just felt right. I couldn’t hate it. I loved it.“

“Great food, amazing menu and wine pairings, wonderful service, but not inexpensive. They added a 5% staff wellness fee that was not previously disclosed on the menu. I hated to do it, but I subtracted it from what I normally tip. Add on credit card and other fees are unethical.“

“Hands down the BEST Mexican food experience our family has ever had! The ladies who took care of us were extremely friendly and accommodating, took time to explain the menu to us and make recommendations. Beyond that, the food was absolutely outstanding. The meats and veggies were fresh and the flavors were bountiful. This place is severely unassuming but worth the trip to the outskirts of town. Do yourself a favor and make your way to Taqueria 2 Brothers—you’ll thank me later.“

“I didn’t see any flying burritos … except the one that flew into my mouth!I stopped in here on February 4th 2024 and grabbed a burrito to go (brought it over to Oak St. Brewery). It was Sunday afternoon and the place was packed! There was a wonderful energy to the place.I had their flagship Flying Burrito. It comes with grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken. It was very good, and more that one person should consume at one sitting. But, of course, I ate the whole damn thing! I couldn't put it down!I can't wait for my next visit!“

“The food here is delicious. There is a little inconsistency in portion sizes though. For example, the chimichanga is massive (enough for two meals if you don't eat a whole lot) but the quesadilla is very small. That's the only reason I gave them a four star for food.Service gets a four star because it's a tad slow sometimes. The servers are very kind, but they sometimes forget to refill your drink, get you a to-go box, etc., forcing you to flag them down. Not too big of an issue though. Certainly wouldn't prevent me from returning.Not much to say on the atmosphere other than the restaurant is clean and colorful.Overall, this is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants (certainly in New Orleans). I have gone to this restaurant several times and will continue to do so.Parking: There's a couple of parking spots in front of the building but you're most likely going to need to wrap around and park about a block away.“

“My friends and I hit this place almost every Tuesday night!!! My fav is the carnitas taco! Chips are warm, salsa is the perfect spice!! Have had several other menu items and all have been great! Seem to have the same waitstaff, we've probably had all of them several times. All very nice, attentive and friendly! Fun atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Tight squeeze between tables but they can be moved to accommodate.“

“so here's the deal, I meant to photograph the food, but I only managed to get one picture of my margarita. this place has a wonderful margarita menu that is guaranteed to have a flavor for everyone. the pineapple cilantro margarita was delicious, refreshing and had legs for days. highly recommend. the queso is probably the best restaurant queso I've had. and the table side ceviche was lovely. this is a fun little place to stop by for good food and great drinks.“

“I was just at Okay Bar for a Persian New Year event and had the best time!! For a Tuesday night at any bar, I wasn't sure what to expect. As soon as I got there, it was music and good vibes flowing out the doors! I had a drink within minutes and into the vibrant crowd I went dancing haha. An amazing Persian food pop-up guest starring for the night called Baba Joon! Apparently they hadn't popped up since last Summer, so the people really came to support! Wasn't sure I'd get to try it with how popular they looked but they moved through the line quickly and I got to try a few dishes! Really glad I made it over to Okay Bar! More than okay with me! :)“

Although...Rudest.Manager.Ever.Whatever you do, don't ask her for something that is considered a server's job like asking for silverware because your food is in front of you and you have no silverware. Basically told us it's not her job. I've been in the service industry for 2+ decades and even the worst managers I had would never say that to a paying customer. “I popped in at a seemingly slow period around 3ish or so. I've been here a few times . I never really get that welcoming vibe(my experience) but the food is always Pretty Good.Anyway this day I ordered the chicken Quesadilla meal...it came with bean and rice on the side...a small portion of Guac...sour creme..tomatoes...1st off my Quesadill wasn't cut.....ok. 2nd my Chicken Quesadill was so bland it literally just looked like shredded chicken inside a tortilla....no peppers no cheese...SADCASEADILLAI FELT NO LOVE WAS PUT INTO THE MAKING OF THISILL GIVE IT A 2.9 OUT OF 5“

I had the mushroom fajitas tonight…I’m guessing there was at the very least 16oz of mushroom on top of the bells, onions, and tomatoes…..asannnndddd the fresh house made tortillas! “So glad I finally tried this Mexican spot! My Yelp BFF and I love Mexican food and this place has been on our list for some time now. Very cute vibe and a nice ambiance. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, perfect place to hang when the weather is nice. You order your food and drinks at the bar and they will bring it you. I ordered the house margarita, elote (corn), fish taco and a birria taco. The wait was not long and the service was great. The House margarita was just ok, it got the job done though. All of my food was good but the standout was the fish taco. That was the best fish taco I've ever had, and I've had plenty of fish tacos lol. It was made from red fish and seasoned to perfection! I will definitely be back soon. Great location on Tchoupitoulas but there is not a parking lot and very few spots in front the building so be prepared to park on a side street.“

“This is my favorite restaurant. Staff is kind. I order to go from here all the time. It's always ready when the staff says it will be. I think they have the best burritos and pupusas in town, certainly on the West Bank. The fajitas are incredible and fairly portioned for the price. My daughter loves their quesadillas. Took my brothers here when they came into town too, they loved it as well.“

“Cool atmosphere. Came when it wasn't packed, so I had quick, friendly service. Ordered rock tacos and 5 regular pork tacos which were hot and fresh. Consume could use a bit more flavor to it, but happy the tacos were crunchy and hot. Wasn't a big fan of pineapples in the trompo tacos which they could have done without. I would come back overall.“

“Probably as authentic as you'd find around the city + outside of Mexico. I've never been a huge fan of chicken tacos but these were wonderful!
