“This place is a serious bang for your buck! I ordered take out and was given my food in what felt like less than 5 minutes. I ordered the bento #3 (bbq eel roll, 3 sushi pieces, noodle salad, and miso soup), and everything was very fresh and flavorful. Not to mention I got a gorgeous pile of pickled ginger and wasabi. You seriously cannot beat the quality for the price! I'll definitely continue to stop here when I'm in this part of town.“

“Great Peking duck very crispy and the bang bang shrimp are so delicious and the mai tai drinks are great too I love the warrior statues and dragons at the front door standing guard. Miss ling really took care of us superior service complete with hot towels for your hands too after the meal“

“I brought my two 5-year-old nephews here for an early dinner. They were excited and loud (and a bit embarrassing), but our server was so sweet and indulged them in conversation about the different menu items. She was patient and kind, and the service was great. The food was absolutely delicious, and the boys were exited to try new things. I was so grateful that we were welcomed and given excellent services, even though the kids were loud and messy. Such a great restaurant!“

Our favorite menu item is the 'Love boat', which comes with a nice selection of rolls and sashimi.Vegetarian options: This is primarily a sushi/hibachi restaurant, however there are meat/dairy free rolls, tempura vegetables, seaweed salad, and other random meat/dairy free menu items.Parking: Large mainly empty parking lot, shared with a few other restaurants and small businesses.“

“Rock n Sake is always a go to for me! The sushi is so delicious and fresh and they have great options - I've never tried a roll I didn't love! Our personal favorite is the Voodoo Queen!! The inside is perfect for a date night and the vibes are always fun! The servers have always been kind, even at their busiest hours! Added plus is they have deals on Tuesdays“

“OMG is all I can say...ok actually there's more. I went to Daiwa with my friend and his daughter after church and we totally pigged out. Since it was my first time and they're regulars, I let them order and they picked all of the best items on the menu. They ordered the shrimp tempura, spicy kimchi udon (my favorite), the butter baked scallop with garlic butter sauce (sooo good), Hamachi Kama( broiled Yellow Tail neck) with white rice and the sea salt white fish sashimi (amazing). I ordered the marine roll just because- everything we had was phenomenal. I was absolutely wowed and I'm now, a life long fan of Daiwa! This was an authentic Japanese experience and I can say that as someone who's been to Japan and had authentic Japanese food. We enjoyed a very calm, clean minimalist setting and food that I'll be thinking about until I can get back to the restaurant for more. My friends new knew our server personally and she provided excellent service. I would 100% recommend Daiwa in Marrero. It was phenomenal.“

He was very sweet, recommended great choices for me and my cousin’s first time there and he truly gave us a fun, vibrant experience with his bubbly personality. I opted for the pho noodle soup with chicken, starting my meal with two chicken spring rolls, while my husband enjoyed the chicken fried rice and added an egg roll. The staff, although not overly chatty, were attentive and efficient, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. The pho noodle soup was delicious , served with basil, bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, and sliced jalapeño peppers, providing a satisfying depth to each spoonful. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and I love glass noodles. The portion size was generous, making it ideal for sharing, unless you're particularly hungry! My spring rolls, which were not fried, were served with a delicious peanut sauce, adding an extra layer of flavor to each bite. My husband's chicken fried rice was equally impressive, authentic and flavorful reminiscent of food served on the streets of Vietnam. The addition of the fried egg roll provided a delightful crunch, even without sauce. Overall, Viet Orleans Bistro offers an authentic dining experience with delicious food and attentive service.
