“I always stop at this Frostop every November after attending the Destrehan Festival a few minutes away. The burgers are always great (I recommend getting the burger "dressed"), and the root beer is delicious. My Grandma loved these burgers, she used to live nearby, and it's very nostalgic when I eat here.“

“Alright y'all, i think I've found the best poboy in Louisiana at this little gem of a place in Laplace! Last Friday, i landed in New Orleans around lunchtime. If you've ever been to Louisiana during lent you know that any place serving fish is going to be steady packed. I'd done some research and decided this was the spot I was stopping at. Sure enough upon walking in there was a good number of folks in line and waiting for their order. I knew this was a good sign that I'd picked well. I ordered my poboy and found a place to wait. About 20 minutes later, it was ready and let him tell you that this shrimp and fish poboy was well worth the wait! Seasoned to perfection and served on bread that was the perfect combination of crispy and soft chewy. I'll definitely be back and trying something else on the menu!“

“We decided to stay in Kenner this year for the Jazz Fest and glad we did as we found Zea!! It hit all my star indicators - very clean, the staff was delightful and the dishes were delectable. Our server, Paris, was knowledgeable about the dishes, shared her opinions about dishes (which I appreciate) and was as charming as the city she is named after. We also chatted with John, the manager and he shared how Zea was created and we could tell he loved being part of the team - as did other team members. Of course we are Southerners so we swap other stories :). As far as the food, Paris helped us pick the perfect dishes for sharing - the Duck Empanada, Asian Ribs (get the 8 as u will be disappoint if u choose only 4), the Pepper Jelly Spinach Salad, with Sweet Ice Tea. To top it off we dipped our spoons into the enticing Sweet Potato Bread Pudding with a tantalizing rum sauce — a must for all future visits. “Been eating here over 50 years and have never had a bad meal. Large portions for the money. Muffulettas, Po-boys and hot meals are large enough to share, same with their sides of French fries or onion rings. Don’t typically like bread pudding but theirs is great! Although it’s been a while, their stuffed artichokes used to be very good. We’ve used a few times for catering and found to be great food at great value. Only weak area is the side salad with the meals, but there are alternatives.“

“The customer service here is amazing. They have someone open the door for you. You’re greater by every staff member there. They were so welcoming. I actually didn’t eat, I stopped in to use the restroom because the restroom at the gas station next door was out of order. Everyone was so polite, welcoming, friendly, & had smiles on their faces. The energy was so happy and positive. I was disappointed my family missed out on eating here. We stayed at the hotel across the street and slept in. Definitely plan on eating here if we ever come back to visit!“

“It ain’t Waffle House if there wasn’t trouble. This place is very short-staffed. Only one waitress and one chef when I dined in. You can tell they were trying their best to accommodate all their tables. I felt really bad for them, but they held their ground. Food was good, and service was as good as it could get. It’s hard to do your best when it’s just you serving multiple people at once. I hope they get more staff because I know those two people who worked the night I came eat must be tired.“
