“New lunch spot aquired! Long-ish review... i live on the northshore but work on the soutshore... we have many good sushi places on the northshore but my favorite has won best sushi on the northshore for 3 years striaght. Point being, Ive been to many sushi places that have had good sushi and bad sushi... i was optimistic with Mizu and was not let down.. first time in just a few minutes ago and i ordered togo (playboy roll.) The place was clean as well as organized (for its smaller size).. order did not take long at all and it was absolutely delicious... temperature of the food was great.. consistancy was nice and the flavor was there! Will definitely be back for more”

“La Louisiane did a phenomenal job on our wedding cake and groom's cake. We got so many compliments from guests not only on how beautiful they both were but how great they tasted also.Shannon was incredibly helpful and responsive at every step of the process, explaining all the different flavors and varieties during the tasting (so many great flavors it was almost impossible to choose!), providing multiple pricing options for different sizes, and working with me to bring my vision of the groom's cake to life!We 1000% recommend them for any couples getting married or planning special events in the area.”

“This is a new location and it is still bright and shiny and clean. Even the men's room was decent! The staff were friendly and efficient and my sandwich was perfect. The hot chicken cheesesteak is fabulous and the portabello mushroom and Swiss is a unique treat you can't get anywhere else. Try them out - you'll never go back to a Subway again. The parking lot is a little tight but the whole Elmwood complex gets nutty at peak times.”

“I've never had oxtail pho and after searching on Uber eats I found this. I ordered that it comes with oxtail/brisket and combination vermicelli chicken pork and shrimp. With the Pho you get one oxtail but it's very meaty and you get a lot of brisket it's very filling and delicious. Would definitely order again.”

“I only ordered delivery while staying at a hotel in town. The doughnuts were all very pretty and I loved the creative selections. Arrival was fast. Packaging was secure. Breakfast sandwich and "dirty chai" drink were hot. Doughnuts were fresh-enjoyed a bite or 2 of each because I could never decide. Nice treat to start the day. I came back and devoured the remnants of the cinnamon roll for lunch!”

“On the coast we do not have anyone who can come out and work on espresso machines. Mine quit working and Mr. Jimmy came out the next day (1.5 hour drive), got it figured out quickly and we made plans to get it fixed. In the meantime he quickly unwired (hard wired) and unplumbed my machine and hooked up a rental so I can get up and running. 1000 percent recommend”

“The people who work at this location are always friendly. My order is always delicious nomatter who makes it. Some of them really go above and beyond. I can't speak for all, but like I said, I have never had a problem.On this visit, I ordered the Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha with cold foam instead of whip cream. I wanted the peppermint cold foam, but they said they didn't have an ingredient that made that cold foam, and she offered something else, but I just took regular cold foam. I also tried the Grill cheese for the first time, and it was good. I dont think it was heated all the way, or I just missed it when it was put down because I was talking to the lady about my drink and my free holiday cup. Will I get it again? Yes, I will because I want to be able to give it a go or no go from my perspective. By the way, it was recommended by another customer, and let's just say she made me buy it. ? I want to say thank you to her whoever she is because I never knew they had a grill cheese, and I wasn't supposed to be getting any of that that day. I already had a smoothie for breakfast. ?So let me explain the grill cheese. By the time I got my drink and made it to the parking lot and in my car, the bread was kind tough and hard, and the cheese definitely wasn't gooey. It was still delicious and edible. I didn't think about bringing it back, which I should have to ask them if it was supposed to be like it was, but I didn't. So, before I order it again, I will definitely ask first, and if it wasn't supposed to be like that, then I will order again and put another review on here. Sorry, I dont have any pictures of anything I ordered.Parking: The design and location of this starbucks make parking a really bad situation, but it dosent stop the customers unless you are in a hurry or just having one of those days you dont feel like dealing with it.”

“There was a sweet girl there all by herself on saturday with a line she had glasses and long red ish hair i think she said she was the manager, she was polite and quick with grabbing my cake and candles also just smells super good in there bc of all the sweets but not an over powering type”

“The majority of people complaining about the quality and portions of an AIRPORT chilis is astounding. It’s an airport. I’ve never had any issues. If you don’t have the patience or time to go to one of the many other vendors at MSY just grab a bag of chips and a soda and sit down at your gate until your flights boards. I swear some people are absolutely ridiculous. I love coming here because the servers are super nice and they’re hardworking. And just get the salsa with the queso and call it a day. “My SoUtHwEsT sAlAd doesn’t look like the picture on the menu” its the same thing on the menu but honey, it’s at a chilis express airport location. Stop being whiney lil babies.”

“Tonight I ordered my usual Strawberry Peanut Power Plus. I got to the window and the girl repeated “Power Punch Plus” I told her no, I ordered the strawberry peanut power plus. She made a face and closed the window as I see her communicating with her coworkers. She opened the window back up with a big fake smile “Yes ma’am peanut power plus” Instead of her handing me my smoothie, one of the coworkers did. So I ended up waiting 30 mins in line for the wrong smoothie...the power punch plus. That girl knew I getting the wrong smoothie and they didn’t care to make it bc they were about to close in 20 mins.”

“Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great staff. GREAT ALL AROUND! FIVE STARS for Jewel of the South.”

“What an awesome gem that we found on the way to the Jazz Fest. Located in Mid-City, the building and the restaurant has been around for a long time. We arrived at 10:30am and had a yummy roast beef & gravy po boy on the best bread I have ever had on a sandwich!! The venue is set up for community and it was clear that all are welcome. Even in the morning, the staff was friendly and inviting and the locals and tourists were coming by for great food, drinks, and a good time.”

“Truly one of the best and most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. A wonderful tribute to Senegalese and Creole food. The staff was absolutely incredible — so friendly and knowledgeable. Explained Senegalese transitions and even started the meal with a table side hand wash. They weren’t stuffy either, which can be common at restaurants at this caliber. They really made our experience top notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. All locally sourced and in season ingredients. Will absolutely tell anyone visiting to go to Dakar.”

“Go!! It’s SO GOOD! Ordered catering the other day and everyone at the party looovvveedddd everything. So many “wow where is this from?!” questions. Even packaged perfectly to keep things crispy. Have been in person too and it’s a cute spot, great for kids and for outdoor beverages. It’s super interesting and tasty, but fulfills the need for perfectly crunchy and juicy chicken and fish bites. “Completely exceptional dining experience. I am so glad we found this little gem. The menu is set daily, based on what is fresh. And it is made to perfection. Our server, Rene, was extremely kind, and engaging. I truly didn’t expect such a good experience, considering the atmosphere - candidly it’s very ~meh~. But I considered that part of its charm. Also, the prices are totally fair and reasonable. Don’t sleep on this place. It’s so so so good.”
