“Felt like home. Very old school restaurant, specializing in Louisiana Seafood. The building is older, but very clean and well maintained.The entire staff was very friendly. From the hostess, to the young bus boys, to our server. Everyone had a smile.My wife had the humongous stuffed crap platter, and I had a BBQ shrimp po-boy. Everything was delicious and arrived hot. The portions are large enough to be shared, we took food home.Restaurants aren’t cheap anywhere these days. But we felt that this was a good value. We will be back.Forget the chains. This is an authentic N'awlins restaurant, from the food to the setting. Take your out of town guests here. Better yet, grab your mom and ‘nem. They will love it.Kid-friendliness: Seemed very kid friendly. The next table had three kids. Their server was talking to the kids all through the meal.”

“Tasty breakfast and kind service. Got a meat lovers omelet, which was flavorful /smallish. The breakfast potatoes and biscuit were better than average. Little tv was loud for a small restaurant. Will definitely be back.”

“I really wish I could remember our server's name he was fantastic. An average height guy with a pony tail and goatee. Walked in without a reservation and the hostess was super nice and got us a table outside. The waiter was great at explaining the soup of the day and my daughter loves it. It was a beef stew. I got the pollo pizza and my partner got the margarita and they were both on point. I love the crispy crust. Overall a great experience.”

“I visited here for the first time on this past Friday. There was parking onsite. I ordered a slice of crepe matcha cake. It was frozen so I had to wait over 30 mins for it to fully thaw. The owner did let me know that that would be the case. So that was no issue. Overall I thought that particular cake slice was just ok but I'd be willing to try the slice of chocolate crepe cake next time. I ordered the taro bubble tea. There wasn't a ton of ice but I still would've preferred a little less. Also even though it wasn't overly sweet I wouldn't have minded a little less sweetness. Next time I know to request these things when ordering. I took my items to go but there were a few seats inside. I really enjoyed the owner Dee Dee. She was so kind and sweet and we chit chatted for a long time. She had such a warm personality.”

“I ordered a small thin crust of anchovies and onion. The ingredients were fresh. The pizza was delicious. Service was fast, friendly and efficient! The wait staff came over several times to see if we needed anything or drink refills. I'd definitely go again!”

“I grew up in New Orleans but don’t live in Louisiana currently, so being able to go home and get food like this is a must. We got a few things, but the best option in my opinion is The Hamper. You get the best variety of boiled seafood New Orleans has to offer on one plate and it’s perfect to share with one or two people (or if you’re really hungry, I’m sure you could polish it off yourself).”

“I’ve always loved a good “hole in the wall” restaurant— Taqueria Corona has the BEST atmosphere, best service, and most authentic food! It’s our go-to every time. Red Sangria and Blackened Shrimp Tacos are my usual!”

“Place used to be kind of shack but recently have been diggin the revamp. Nice big comfy couches, lots of spacious seating and big tvs. the whole atmosphere is pretty neat. I will say I don’t miss the old pool table but would be cool to get another table or some darts in there. Food is pretty dang good, I’m sorry but you can’t beat .89 cent wing mondays! Great bar food selection and have been told the salads are top notch. Beer is always cold. Nice lil spot that me and my coworkers frequent now. Shout out to the bartenders and chef making that place run.”

“Strip mall food at its finest! It's a medium sized Vietnamese restaurant that has exceptional food and does a brisk business. Service is efficient. The ambiance is not fancy. But, the food - the food! The crab Rangoon has crab and comes with a delicious mild chili sauce, which is far superior to the sweet and sour sauce most places provide. The big highlight is the grilled shrimp summer rolls. They are filled with fresh cucumber, carrot, vermicelli, and fresh grilled shrimp with a perfectly balanced bit of fresh mint. It comes with a lightly spicy peanut sauce. Might want to ask for extra peanut sauce.”

“This cake came in the mail.!! I got my King Cake on the exact date they told me. It came very fresh, Not stingy on the icing or colored decoration sprinkles. The cake was absolutely delicious and fresh, Full of cream cheese. We be getting our King Cakes here from now on. Excellent ..!!”

“Visited here for the first time today. It was easy to miss because the sign off the street didn't say The Wandering Goat. I believe the sign said gelato and bakery. I parked in a spot near the pizzeria. Fortunately I didn't have to walk far to get to the bakery. I was expecting to see more baked goods. There were only about 5 or 6 that I could see. But maybe that had to do with the day of the week that I visited. I decided to try the strawberry Bundt cake. The owner said it was recently removed from the oven. I really enjoyed the cake. I initially thought it seemed a bit pricey. But after tasting the cake I realized it was definitely worth the price. I plan to return in the future to try other desserts.”

“I've been to smaller Du Monde locations but this was my first time at the Jackson Square location. It was a great experience. I was able to go for breakfast two days in a row. Frozen cafe au lait and an order of beignets is all I need to start my day. There was great music playing right outside the restaurant. It couldn't have been more perfect.”

“Honestly, i tried a few different flavors and they were all sooo good. The ice was good, the soft serve was great. The overall snowball was 10/10. Even the experience was amazing. Might I also add that every delivery that I've order have ALWAYS arrived warm. I've ordered several times from UberEats and once directly through the site (and I assume an actual employee delivers them if you order through the site). “No, it isn’t gourmet . However, my family and I are always seated quickly, happily. We are fed quickly and rather well for such fast service. The margaritas are better than most places of the like. My young kids are welcomed and not sneered at when they are a bit more rambunctious than I’d like. We visit almost weekly and will continue to do so. Staff are SO wonderful”

I do and will continue to buy from this business and I will continue to tell every and anyone if you are going to New Orleans make sure you go to Harahan for some sweets from Chosen Cakes and Catering. I live in Oklahoma but I travel a lot and that is one of my favorite states. Don't let misable people deter you from tasting one of the Southern most best cakes and catering.”

“I love being able to get a fresh sandwich with you choice of breads and toppings and have it oven baked and ready in about 2 minutes. I've gotten the Ba Ha Chicken sandwich. I'll certainly get it again. This is so much better than going to Subway. I just can't understand why there's only 1 Quiznos on the East Bank when Subway's are littered all over the place.”

“Came for the first time last night in a hurry. Got shrimp fried rice, and pork egg rolls. Egg rolls were AWESOME. Fried rice came PACKED full for a small, was super full off $14 tip included. Not sure what others are talking about the condiments, they are always on the counter, free, as many as you want. Every sauce they have and no they do not charge for condiments and they are friendly, professional, and the prices are very good for the amount of food you get. It was delicious and already have plans to go back tomorrow night. Ordered online and it was ready before 10 minutes piping hot.”

“Tre Von was really patient with me. This was my first time here. Online I didn't read it was associated with Dickey's. Upon entering the building I saw a sign on the door and was a bit confused. Tre Von welcomed me and explained the different companies Dickey's own. The food was ok. I was expecting a burger on the lines of Company burger which is the best burger. However it wasn't. Although, I'm not a fan of the food I appreciated the customer service!”
