“Quickly became my go-to place for daiquiris! Great flavor variety…always tasty and perfectly strong without too harsh an alcohol flavor. The price is right, and I love the daily specials they offer. The gals bartending are always friendly and fast in the drive-thru, although I’ve personally never been inside. I will say, the drive-thru can be a bit stressful during busier times since there is not much room for a line so it can spill out onto the street. I take every out-of-town visitor here, and it’s definitely a top request when they visit again. I am moving out of River Ridge soon, but I will be making the quick drive from Metairie whenever I have a daiquiri hankering!“

“Place used to be kind of shack but recently have been diggin the revamp. Nice big comfy couches, lots of spacious seating and big tvs. the whole atmosphere is pretty neat. I will say I don’t miss the old pool table but would be cool to get another table or some darts in there. Food is pretty dang good, I’m sorry but you can’t beat .89 cent wing mondays! “I forgot to finish my review and post it. My husband and I were in NOLA for the first time, we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, in August 2023. I have a gluten allergy and it was difficult to find authentic NOLA food that was gluten free. I am so glad I found Atchafalaya Restaurant!! The food was absolutely fantastic and they had several gluten free options! Our waitress was amazing. The restaurant was very cute inside and had a lot more seating than it looked like from the outside.“

Also they have a 25% off whiskey Wednesdays!!! Wife and I happened to get there b4 opening on Wednesday. One of the staff ladies took us around inside to show us what Bourbons they had available. “Good food and inexpensive In the garden district. I had the loaded tots and smash burger both were very good. Probably the best hamburger I’ve had in New Orleans. “The best neighborhood bar I’ve ever been to, it’s a great community, everyone is very welcoming. A lot of neighborhood spots you walk in and it’s like the record skips and everyone turns around. Not Pete’s! Speaking of records they have a vintage jukebox with great broad selection. It’s old school, nobody paying extra to skip ahead of you, no one playing the same Drake song on repeat. Drinks are very affordable with a modest but well rounded selection. They have pop ups most days it seems so if your hungry there’s usually a food option. I’ll tell you what they hiding…The Best Burgers in New Orleans! The burgers are served with a baked potato! Both were yummy! The drinks offered come in regular and Jumbo…go for the jumbo…if you don’t finish you can get a to-go cup!Make this a spot to check out if you visit! The bar staff were chill and friendly! The space is small…there is some outdoor seating, but be prepared to wait at peak hours! There was a good balance of locals and tourists..so I felt this is a good sign of this place must serve good food consistently!“

“I go to Le Bon Temps often and they have some good music. They also have FREE oysters on Fridays but they go quick so you need to get there early! They have a kitchen that serves food and they have some good burgers here. The bar is divided into 2 main areas with the front being full of pool tables and the back where the bands play. This is usually a really fun bar to watch music until the point that it gets too crowded, which is way too often, but you always have the front area of the bar to escape to. The back area, where the bands play, can just get miserably crowded especially on Thursday nights when bands like the Soul Rebels play (it also is a bad "tradition" that the Soul Rebels NEVER start on time so it is like 12:30 or 1am before they start usually so if you have to work the next day that really is a challenge). There are also some people that take their pool games WAY too seriously in here and I've seen a few fights break out over a stupid game so don't get in those folks way. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge but if you get far enough away you can always find a spot. They usually have pretty quick bar service and I usually prefer the front bar when there is music as it is quicker to get served than fighting the often formidable crowd in the back. There is always an interesting crowd here and there is a special plaque on the bar involving a historical person that I will let you discover yourself (maybe further down in this review even). There always seems to be something going on here when it seems nothing else is anywhere else in the area. Overall this is one of the best classic dive bars and music venues in the entire New Orleans area. FYI: This is yet another of the bars that claims the notoriety of having had Lee Harvey Oswald as a frequent customer. Despite sitting at a corner table near the entrance, no one checked on us, forcing us to leave disappointed. “Have been a Chart Room patron for many years. It's pretty much a plain ol' bar with great juke box and veteran bartenders serving typically strong and inexpensive drinks. About half locals, half out-of-town visitors, most of the out-of-towners being frequent NOLA visitors. At one time I suspected that a few of the regular characters were sent over by Central Casting, but have been going there long enough to now know they're genuine. A recent ownership change, but based on my last visit, no discernible (to me) change.“

“We discovered this bar by chance while walking around the Quarter- Lucky us! Kevin was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were enjoying local IPAs on tap when another customer raved about their sangria. Kevin had just made a new batch in front of me so I couldn't resist. It was awesome- and you'll see many other reviewers saying the same thing. The bar is clean and in a great spot about a block from Bourbon St.(just far enough to escape the sensory overload) with bar seating, tall tables, and a lower level with more seating. Stop in for a sangria (or whatever you enjoy) and say "hi" to Kevin!“
