“The BEST Mexican food restaurant in town! The food is always freshly prepares and absolutely delicious. I favor the Mexican pizzas, the fish tacos, and the tongue tacos. Their Pico de Gallo is some of the best I've had. The only thing that is disappointing is that the chips and Pico is not complimentary like other Mexican restaurants.“

The food was not the standard and adjust made me not want to return, so after staying away from the restaurant for a long time, I tried the one in Elmwood . what an amazing surprise the staff were happy the food was as I remembered it. The first time I had it everything was fresh crispy and perfectly seasoned. If you’ve had a bad experience, somewhere else, come to this location, you won’t be disappointed. I also spoke to the manager who helped me understand that they were putting a lot of effort and making it a great experience What come to expect I’ll be back“

“Food portions were good for the price. Got the trio cheese dip and guac were good, the salsa was ok but had kind of an odd taste. The beef burrito ingredients weren't mixed that well. First 1/3 was too much meat and dry tasting. Middle was good, them the last bit was 90% beans. Service was ok. Kind of slow to come back to my table and rarely checked in. But once I ordered the food came out quickly.“

“This was a nice find. The outdoor eating space is quaint and has a wonderful atmosphere. The food was good but a little pricey for what you get. I had the braised pork tacos which were really tasty. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and we shared some chips and queso. We each had a margarita, her Jalepeno and me strawberry. Bill was just over 50.00 with tip. Give Barracuda a try, I think you will like it.“

“I really wanted to hate this place. Another hipster gentrifying the neighborhood with their pseudo-ethnic cuisine. This rich boy, Banksy buying, carpet bagger…. I so very much wanted to hate it. But I couldn’t. It was just too good. The food was delicious. The prices were just right. The authentic tile work and gas station bathroom were absolutely delightful. “I didn’t see any flying burritos … except the one that flew into my mouth!I stopped in here on February 4th 2024 and grabbed a burrito to go (brought it over to Oak St. Brewery). It was Sunday afternoon and the place was packed! There was a wonderful energy to the place.I had their flagship Flying Burrito. It comes with grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken. It was very good, and more that one person should consume at one sitting. But, of course, I ate the whole damn thing! I couldn't put it down!I can't wait for my next visit!“

For example, the chimichanga is massive (enough for two meals if you don't eat a whole lot) but the quesadilla is very small. That's the only reason I gave them a four star for food.Service gets a four star because it's a tad slow sometimes. The servers are very kind, but they sometimes forget to refill your drink, get you a to-go box, etc., forcing you to flag them down. Not too big of an issue though. Certainly wouldn't prevent me from returning.Not much to say on the atmosphere other than the restaurant is clean and colorful.Overall, this is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants (certainly in New Orleans). I have gone to this restaurant several times and will continue to do so.Parking: There's a couple of parking spots in front of the building but you're most likely going to need to wrap around and park about a block away.“

“So glad I finally tried this Mexican spot! My Yelp BFF and I love Mexican food and this place has been on our list for some time now. Very cute vibe and a nice ambiance. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, perfect place to hang when the weather is nice. You order your food and drinks at the bar and they will bring it you. I ordered the house margarita, elote (corn), fish taco and a birria taco. The wait was not long and the service was great. The House margarita was just ok, it got the job done though. All of my food was good but the standout was the fish taco. That was the best fish taco I've ever had, and I've had plenty of fish tacos lol. It was made from red fish and seasoned to perfection! I will definitely be back soon. Great location on Tchoupitoulas but there is not a parking lot and very few spots in front the building so be prepared to park on a side street.“

“The birria tacos were divine. They were juicy, tender, and had just the right amount of cheese. The tortillas were nice and crispy. The sauce was amazing and I loved how they gave the hot sauce on the side so you can decide how spicy you like it. We also got a steak quesadilla and it was delicious.The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. The price wasn’t bad considering how good the food was, and we got a first time discount. We paid around $30 for two birria plates and one steak quesadilla (with discount)“

I've had so many tacos in my lifetime, and it's upsetting when they're so dry or mediocre. BUT, this right HERE? I had to close my eyes for each bite. I want to actually hug whoever marinates and slow cooks their beef. This place is super authentic and obviously makes their food with love. I've had the barbacoa tacos 3 separate times so far, and it doesn't matter when I get these tacos, it always tastes the exact same and are made to PERFECTION. Their consistency is on 10! It is a small taco stand, but they are so quick when making your food. I'll take this spot over any Taco Tuesday place any day. Also, super affordable! My total was $10.50, and I added cheese.
