“The ambiance at this place was fantastic with live music and outdoor seating. However, it was overly crowded, so we couldn't stay. Despite sitting at a corner table near the entrance, no one checked on us, forcing us to leave disappointed. While I'm unsure about returning to New Orleans, if I do, I might consider giving them another chance.”

“It's a very small place but the food and service definitely make up for it. I got the baked spaghetti with sweet peas and fried wings and my wife got a fried shrimp on bun with onion rings. Absolutely delicious. And definitely get the watermelon punch!! Will definitely be ”

Being there 5 times with a friend, have eaten different dishes, they all are delicious and my friend and I both love it. Definitely I recommend this great place.”

Counter service but if you don't want to carry out there are about six tables, comfortable and would be a fun spot to take a load off and enjoy a tasty meal. Saw some salads and they have a list of po-boys. Small location you can actually watch them make the food but the place is spotless and has convenient restrooms. Friendly staff.”

“This Waffle House has by far been one of the best I've been to in a while. The staff here was friendly, helpful and happy, from the cook to the bus boy. We had a mini crisis when my daughter got a bloody nose and they all jumped in to help. They seemed to work in harmony with each other. This was also a very clean waffle house, the grill area was not looking all nasty and the floors were clean and mopped.Kid-friendliness: They were very friendly and understanding, my daughter is special needs and they did a great job with her.”

“Bud's is an institution. Wonderful burgers and other food but clearly the #2 is the star for me. Great barbecue sauce on it! Fries and onion rings are always well prepared. They have a good variety of drinks including Barq's red soda. Staff here was friendly and efficient. Burgers were served up hot and tasty. First visit to this particular Bud's but definitely not my last.”

“Ok so I rarely write reviews. This place was bonkers. We picked it because it was lent, we wanted fish and it was on the way. The place looked really simple and had some burnt out neon letters which could either be exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.We walked in to a really clean, open space where the music wasn’t super loud and were sat immediately.Our server was awesome. She was clearly from the area and knew the menu inside and out. The menu isn’t super clear and she was able to talk us through our 10000 midwestern questions.We wanted some deep fried stuff so we ordered pickle chips and onion rings. I never would have expected them to be handmade. They were so good. Like, so good that even though I knew I had to eat more food after I still couldn’t stop eating them. And they had the good ranch. You know what I mean. The really good stuff.The server, Lynn, who, again was so super good, recommended the red fish. I’m from Wisconsin. We don’t have redfish. But. She was so awesome so I tried it.I don’t know what kind of insane stuff they put in their blackening season, but it has to be illegal. It was one of those “I am so full but I can’t stop eating” kind of things. Then when I finished my plate my husband started putting his food from his absurdly huge seafood platter on my plate. Even when I was so full I hated myself, I still at the entire deep fried catfish filet. And I couldn’t stop eating THAT either.Literally go there. I’m not kidding. It’s worth the shame you will feel because you can’t stop shoveling all the goodness in your face.”

“I had an informal gathering in Audubon Park for about 15 people. Knowing about Crabbies I ordered shrimp po-boys, potato salad, and bread pudding in advance. When I picked it up all was ready with food and all necessary utensils. The food was as good as I remembered, sandwiches overflowing with perfectly fried shrimp. I was happy to share a New Orlean’s culinary treat with my out of town guests.”

“Staff and owners are awesome! Went in for the first time today and I watched liked 10 people come in over the course of a few hours, and the barista literally knew all their names and orders. Then the owner helped me jump my car battery that had died. Best part was they made my coffee exactly how I asked!”

“I have been coming to Sno Shak for years and they have always been consistent. The ice quality is great and the juice is always on point. The nachos always have lots of cheese and the snacks are reasonable. I highly recommend ?”

“This place is one my go to coffee hang outs. I almost want to keep it a secret because I enjoy that it is not overcrowded and quaint. This is what I would call a Orleans Parish fancy coffee shop setting with home made meals and coffee in Jefferson. You feel like you are in New Orleans as it is a raised house, with high ceilings, wooden creeky floors, door locks that barely work for the bathroom, and even live music.I have been coming here monthly since the summer and it is a small business owned by a woman who makes her own pickles and cookies with sea salt and coffees. Since it is small, they sometimes run out of items so if your heart is set on something call ahead. She has the most incredible pulled pork cheesy biscuit. Again, sometimes the cheesy biscuit is out, but the regular biscuit is just fine. The home made pickles are truly incredible. My hubby does not like pickles and he craves these. There is a sweetness to them, it isn't all vinegary. And the owner is considering selling them on the side soon. The cookie is a chocolate chip cookie that she adds seastalt to that enhances the flavor. The salad I had, she was out of the particular greens, but the salad was amazing too! The coffee I had was a caramel or something style, it was so good, I got it in cold and hot latte style!I love the teal truck outside that matches the door. The place is clean inside. There are steps to get into the place, there are about 5 or 6 small tables inside, there is a porch with a couple of small tables as well. Prices are on par with any other Orleans parish coffee shop, and parking is off street parking and is across the street which is basically Causeway.”

“I visit this Subway at least once a week. They are always nice, quick, and have fresh ingredients. They handle the lunch time crowds efficiently. One of the best Subways I've experienced in the city.”
