“The ambiance at this place was fantastic with live music and outdoor seating. However, it was overly crowded, so we couldn't stay. Despite sitting at a corner table near the entrance, no one checked on us, forcing us to leave disappointed. While I'm unsure about returning to New Orleans, if I do, I might consider giving them another chance.“

“My husband and I don't come here often, but when we do, it's for bike night. It's really fun to come hang out and look at all the different types of motorcycles, and the drink/food prices are very reasonable. It's also a kid and dog friendly spot during bike night. There are picnic tables outside the bar to hang out, and the crowd is usually a little older and easy-going.“

“I forgot to finish my review and post it. My husband and I were in NOLA for the first time, we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, in August 2023. I have a gluten allergy and it was difficult to find authentic NOLA food that was gluten free. I am so glad I found Atchafalaya Restaurant!! The food was absolutely fantastic and they had several gluten free options! Our waitress was amazing. The restaurant was very cute inside and had a lot more seating than it looked like from the outside.“

We arrived at 10:30am and had a yummy roast beef & gravy po boy on the best bread I have ever had on a sandwich!! The venue is set up for community and it was clear that all are welcome.
