“I’ve been to this spot a few times now so I think it’s about time to talk about it. ToV is one of those spots that I tend to love because it’s just like a locals type dive bar-ish spot with good food at good prices and cold drinks. They play all the sports on TV’s all around the bar and they have a pool table and three dart boards.I’ve had three different burgers in my three trips in but I’ve also tried bites of the ribeye wrap, fresh tuna, pork chop, loaded tater tots, etc. Everything I tried was good at the very least, most things very good. If you’re looking for flashy or upscale dining though…go somewhere else. This is just real food by real people done well.The one criticism I will leave is that they would greatly benefit from a better roll for the burgers. I enjoy them cooked medium rare - medium and if you don’t eat them quickly the bun will start to deteriorate. “Had a great time with hubby! The bartenders are super friendly and helpful! Place is small, yet, everyone makes you feel like part of the family! The pool tables are clean. You can order from Smitty’s right next door. They even get it for you! Food was excellent! The band was good as well. Definitely will visit again!“

“I've been getting daiquiris from this establishment for a few months now, so here's my take.They are, without a doubt, the strongest daiquiris in the Parish. However, this unfortunately doesn't make them suitable for everyone. If you don't like them super strong, they aren't for you. But if that's your preference, enjoy as we do. CVS has an ATM which is in the same parking lot.As for the atmosphere inside, we haven't spent much time inside other than to order.Truthfully, its your stereotypical dive bar, smokey, dark, and dungeon-like. “No doubt in my mind, the Gulf Coast has amazing seafood, and the Fiery Crab is just another example. We had a large party (10) and ordered the platter and some sides of fried fish and sides of Cajun and Sweet Potato fries. The platter served was lobster tails, mussels, crawfish, gulf shrimp, royal red shrimp, crab clusters, blue crabs, sausage corn on the cob and boiled eggs. Each of the items was very good. “Great wee pub situated at the final corner of the Charles Street streetcar route. Doesn't look like much from outside but inside is great old fashioned bar. Food was excellent and freshly cooked. I had several Blue Moon beers but there was a lot more on offer.“

“If you are in Metairie Bar Tevs is a great spot to meet up with friends or watch a game. Great location off of Airline in Metairie away from the hustle of the city. The owners always make a fun atmosphere on game days or any day! And the food pop-up’s are on point!“

“Mid City Yacht Club is a standard neighborhood bar, except that the beer selections are a few steps above and the menu offers good to great options. Their burgers are creative and always great. The bartenders are a bit surly as can be expected but they can be won over by being pleasant and tipping well. And for the record, there are no boats, yachts, or bodies of water nearby.“

“Not a drinker, but I came here bc of a recommendation for another local business to try their burgers. Got their regular cheeseburger and some fries. The hamburger was seasoned to perfection and the fries are just the right crinkle fries. Not too soft and not hard. The employees were very nice and got my order out quick. “I went to see Forest; he was double booked again! I stayed anyway. The staff was fun. Easily able to get a game pool, dancing, laughs, great time. Clean bathroom 's establishment is the cleanest IV been to on 4th street. Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessable. I had a good time!“

“First off, I like this place and recommend it. Food, service, ambience, and convenient location are excellent. Personally, I go there primarily for the GOLF SIMULATOR. The golf setup, features, and screen options are also excellent and it provides mostly good information. Perhaps the best feature is the camera which shows how the clubhead contacts the ball, e.g., middle of the face or not and whether the face is square, closing, or fanning open at impact. On the other hand, and this is why I cannot give a 5 star review, the GOLF SIMULATOR IS NOT ACCURATE. I bring my own premium golf balls. The ones provided are not always of high quality. I am a seasoned golfer who knows his distances and numbers. The simulator's distances can be way off. I don't know if the simulator is regularly calibrated. When I asked the manager about this, he had no answer. Several times, I have spoken to other golfers who had the same experience. So do go but do not expect the simulator to give accurate feedback.“

“Quickly became my go-to place for daiquiris! Great flavor variety…always tasty and perfectly strong without too harsh an alcohol flavor. The price is right, and I love the daily specials they offer. The gals bartending are always friendly and fast in the drive-thru, although I’ve personally never been inside. I will say, the drive-thru can be a bit stressful during busier times since there is not much room for a line so it can spill out onto the street. I take every out-of-town visitor here, and it’s definitely a top request when they visit again. I am moving out of River Ridge soon, but I will be making the quick drive from Metairie whenever I have a daiquiri hankering!“

“Hadn't been here in years. I decided to unwind and relax after work one day last week. Glad I did! It was dart night so there was a bunch of people came in around 6:00 pm but between 5 and 6 pm it was rather quiet and we had a pizza and cheese sticks. Both food items were really good. The owner and his son were very nice. Had a good time and look forward to going back for drinks, food and good company!“

“Went for a drink on Saturday and enjoyed a plentiful serving of boiled shrimp with mushrooms, cabbage, garlic, corn and potatoes. The spices creep up after excellently. All staff and patrons friendly; dog and I loved hanging in the beautiful back patio. Will definitely return.“
