“It's a diner and I love these places!! It reminds me of growing up, going to breakfast with my WWII/Korean war vet dad on a Saturday morning. Get breakfast at the diner, go to the dump, then hardware store... you get the picture. Sitting at the counter mere feet from the grill with a guy flipping eggs, fried potatoes, learning that men drink coffee black, etc. etc. The food is good old fashion American breakfast, and lunch. Great coffee, great service (the digital ordering thing is a bust) but the wait staff is great.Vegetarian options: If you want vegan, God are you at the wrong place. They have some options, but this is a diner, take the man bun somewhere else.Parking: Amazing open free parking lot.“

“This new staff is awesome. I can't remember everyone's name, but there are 3 employees there who are AWESOME. They have great customer service skills, the food has been consistently hot, and my orders consistently correct. Keep up the good work, Sonic staff!“

“The young lady that was working the window was very helpful when there was a small mix up with my order. They were extremely busy at the time so I wasn't horribly upset about the mix up but the other customer was being very rude from the minute she walked up. She went from being just plain ignorantly rude for no reason to being blatantly disrespectful and nasty. I was seconds away from stepping in myself because it was more than clear to me that Ciara was doing her job to the best of her abilities and she wasn't even responsible for the order mix up. What I didn't realize was that she was not in need of my help at all, she took a deep breathe and in the largest show of respect or best example of "being the bigger person" I've ever experienced in my life she told her what she needed to tell her with a smile on her face the whole time and when she was done she in the most polite way let her know that she was not to be disrespected. The woman was left literally speechless for a few awkward seconds and then I guess she realized she was WRONG all caps so she just tried to smile and say thank you before leaving? Shout out to Ciara at McDonald's in Boutte, Ba da ba ba baa your Killin it girl. Keep up the good work ?“

“I honestly love this location. All the staff are so friendly and the cooks are on point. If you are a lover of the liver and onions plate you have to come here and have Anthony fix this for you. Tastes just as good as Grandma's or even better! ?“

“I’ve been to this spot a few times now so I think it’s about time to talk about it. ToV is one of those spots that I tend to love because it’s just like a locals type dive bar-ish spot with good food at good prices and cold drinks. They play all the sports on TV’s all around the bar and they have a pool table and three dart boards.I’ve had three different burgers in my three trips in but I’ve also tried bites of the ribeye wrap, fresh tuna, pork chop, loaded tater tots, etc. Everything I tried was good at the very least, most things very good. If you’re looking for flashy or upscale dining though…go somewhere else. This is just real food by real people done well.The one criticism I will leave is that they would greatly benefit from a better roll for the burgers. I enjoy them cooked medium rare - medium and if you don’t eat them quickly the bun will start to deteriorate. “I always stop at this Frostop every November after attending the Destrehan Festival a few minutes away. The burgers are always great (I recommend getting the burger "dressed"), and the root beer is delicious. My Grandma loved these burgers, she used to live nearby, and it's very nostalgic when I eat here.“

“I love Dot's Diner, and this location is great. This time, I tried Da Cajun Burrito. Loved it! It's a grilled breakfast burrito made with hot sausage patty and scrambled egg. My wife had the Porkchop breakfast plate and she loved it! Great place for breakfast or lunch or dinner or just a dessert. Their food never disappoints. And the service is great! The ladies work together and are quick to top off your coffee and drinks. Good portions that will fill you up.“

“Man I love finding these ducked off restaurants. Wasn't sure we were in the right place cuz we didn't see the signage. Place was open and folks were coming in to pick up orders the whole time we were there. Staff was friendly and took care of us. I got the wings with Jamaican jerk and hot lemon pepper. Both were good but the Jamaican jerk was the star. Also got the loaded fries as the side which had cheese sauce, I think shredded cheese, and bacon. Not a fan of cheese sauce like that but it was still pretty good. I wouldn't get it the next time I went cuz I would want to try something else but I'd get it again. For the drink, I ordered the strawberry lemonade. Hands down the best strawberry lemonade I've had. Gotta mix up the drink a bit but you'll definitely be wanting more. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area“
