“This review is based on the price of the food and what I would expect because of that. The food was good but that’s it, just good. The tables are so close together that it’s hard to have a private conversation. The waitstaff was wonderful and the ambiance great, but I was expecting much better-tasting dishes.“

“We love visiting The Anchor! The view of the Tchefuncte River can't be beat. The food and service are great for a fast casual restaurant. Relaxing on the deck with a daiquiri, watching the boats pass by, makes you feel like you're on vacation!Parking: There's a free private parking lot.Kid-friendliness: There's an enclosed area with a big pirate ship play structure.“

“I sat on the beautiful outdoor garden side patio. Very clean and well-maintained. Deliciously fresh cranberry muffin and super strong coffee that even my very picky grandmother would have found adequate. "COFFEE TO WAKE THE DEAD."“

“Love it there there is no food unless food truck or someone cooking outside or for a game or a benefit or some kind of party like Mardi Gras...it's a neighborhood bar during the week and the best live music venue on the Northshore on the weekends. Playing the best music from all genre's but The Funky Blues has always been a Ruby's staple. It's always a happening place with good friendly folks and the best owners anyone could work for...place has been like family to me for the past 20 years...not to mention I had the pleasure and opportunity to work there for 10 years. I miss it so much but health issues prevents me from doing it anymore unless I'm asked to fill in and guest bartend for a day. If you have never had the opportunity to go there your missing out on a great place and great people. Hurry and get on down there for a cold beer, great drinks and some music. There's always some fun happening at Ruby's Roadhouse xxxoooo“
“Better known as YaYa's , this place is a small hole in the wall bar . They have pool tables and its main attendees are locals, middle age demographics & older veterans (some questionable -some not). If your not familiar you may get a few awkward stares and if you are local you will probably get stares because its a small establishment (spaced in a strip pf stores) Its no holy grail of Downtown Covingtons night scene, but they do have liquor and pool tables ????♀️ If your looking for a high society group of people-you should pass. I give it 5 stars even though its a little rough Neighborhood Dive being it doesn't represent or brand itself as anything other than that.“
“Y’all!!! This is a MUST place to visit. If you’re looking for a nice place to chill. This place is perfect. The bartenders are fantastic! Perfect southern charm! I only had the cranberry and vodka. I watched them make all sorts of drinks I’d love to try. After a nice drink you can walk one maybe two blocks and enjoy the lakefront watching a sunset.“

“Visited for lunch. First time at Bistro Byronz. Was hoping for a good salad. Was blown away by the excellent Wasabi salad with sesame encrusted tuna (get the tuna rare!). Beautiful menu with loads of enticing items. Terrific list of sides. Superior service; ask for the server whose first name begins with 'M'. YUM!!“

“The food was incredible. Delicious oysters, shrimp and crawfish! Perfect atmosphere sitting on the porch with the breeze from the water. All of the servers were great and super friendly. Thought the hostess girl needed a major attitude check though. If you're having a bad day, don't bring it to work.“
