“It's a perfect place to celebrate an anniversary. We arrived and had roses on the table and received complimentary champagne due to it being our anniversary. The ambiance was romantic. The service and food were superb. We'd highly recommend it. It's a little more expensive, but it was worth it to us. We had a memorable experience.“

“I've tried to go to this place several times. Once it was a walk-in and they were very busy and explained to us that they mostly work off of reservations. The next time I called to make a reservation but it was 2-Hour wait so we went somewhere else. So finally on the third time we went in the afternoon at 2:00 when the lunch rush is gone and hopefully we would be able to get a table. We did get a table. We got a table in the bar area where there wasn't any one else there at all. The service was great. The food was even better. We got a $23 Pizza and didn't finish it all. I brought it home and it was still really good several days later. The wings were really great, especially the price. And I got the Italian salad which exceeded all my expectations of what an Italian salad should be. It had artichokes olives, a really great dressing sun-dried tomatoes. It was superb. I enjoyed seeing the old pictures on the wall and the traditional Italian atmosphere.“

“I never leave restaurant reviews but this place deserves one. My husband and I went in for lunch today. We were craving Italian food. We aren't from Mandeville/Covington area. Fazzios pulled up in the restaurants near us search so we decided to give it a go. He got the Calamari. I got the Gumbo. I know gumbo at an Italian restaurant should be ok at the least. It was fantastic. Probably the best I have every had. The Calamari was breaded and fried to perfection. He got the chicken parm. I got the aiglo e olio with breaded chicken. Both of our food was so good we couldn't stop eating! If you like martinis try the blueberry lemon drop. So good! The staff was so nice. It almost felt like being home. We loved the small hole in the wall feel with elegance this place brought.“

“Great spot for consistently good Italian food. Portions are huge so you can definitely split a meal here. Very good local seafood dishes like fried soft shell crab (in season) and nightly fish specials. My favorite is their tomato cream sauce.“

“I had eggplant parmesan. Plenty of food but gravy was really thick & slightly bitter with very little cheese on top. Service was good.Others said it was good, but one ate meatballs and spaghetti.Kid-friendliness: Kids meal was fine but they did not eat very much. That is not uncommon so I doubt it was anything to do with the taste.Nice big booth to keep kids from getting up and down from a chair. Kids were 4 and 5.“

“I recently ordered the manicotti for dinner through DoorDash and with every bite, I was in heaven! It was absolutely delicious and I’m excited to order it again in the future. The only very minor issue I had was that the caesar dressing to my salad was missing from my order, but we’re all human and small mistakes happen so I wasn’t worried about it! I highly enjoyed the food itself and highly recommend trying this restaurant if you haven’t already! Thanks for an awesome dinner.“

“We have been coming to Nuvolari's for many special occasions for a while now. Every time, the food and service are impeccable. Their staff is very personable and seems to genuinely care about the dining experience. It has an elevated but lighthearted atmosphere. The food is to die for and they regularly update the menu so there are always a few new things to try.“
