“The only terrible thing about this spot is that I can't get this back home... this place is fantastic! The food, the service is top notch. The price is pretty decent too. The employees were not lying about the quality of the food. Would for sure come back in a heartbeat if I could!“

“I'm from Miami and I know Nola has a ton of black ppl but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find any home down south cooking.Sometimes it's hard to find "Mom & Pops" home cooking via a Google search so I was so so glad to find these folks and then to get greeted with a "Good Morning" WITH beautiful smiles and white teeth! It was beautiful I honestly think it made the food taste better!?? Enjoyed and ate every drop!“

“I give Westwego Seafood all five stars because they make delicious local seafood favorites at amazing pricing. I tried calling in to place a takeout order but no one picked up. Lucky for me, I was staying down the street so I popped in and placed my order in person. The order would be ready in 25 minutes so I left and ran errands. I came back and the food was ready. Get the full 12" poboys! My favorites are the shrimp and oyster poboys. The bread is fresh while the proteins are fried to perfection. Don't forget to add fries to your poboy.“

“I forgot to finish my review and post it. My husband and I were in NOLA for the first time, we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, in August 2023. I have a gluten allergy and it was difficult to find authentic NOLA food that was gluten free. I am so glad I found Atchafalaya Restaurant!! The food was absolutely fantastic and they had several gluten free options! Our waitress was amazing. The restaurant was very cute inside and had a lot more seating than it looked like from the outside.“

“Truly one of the best and most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. A wonderful tribute to Senegalese and Creole food. The staff was absolutely incredible — so friendly and knowledgeable. Explained Senegalese transitions and even started the meal with a table side hand wash. They weren’t stuffy either, which can be common at restaurants at this caliber. They really made our experience top notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. All locally sourced and in season ingredients. Will absolutely tell anyone visiting to go to Dakar.“

“I celebrated a birthday at Ralph’s and it was a great experience. The food was excellent, and the service was great. I had the Chicken Cobb salad and a surprise nectar float as part of my birthday celebration! What a treat. The decor from the old New Orleans style building, to the painted murals and white tablecloths was superb. Free street parking out front and a free parking lot in the back is a big plus. A wall of windows gives a superb view of New Orleans city park as well. Reasonably priced and definitely a treat!Parking: Plenty of free, convenient street and lot parking plus valet if you choose.“

“Truly one of the best restaurants in the French Quarter. Reserve a table in the Jazz Bistro area for an extra special experience with live musicians! ?✨️ They were LOVELY! The ambiance, service, and food were all amazing. We had the Meunière and Shrimp Creole...they were both delicious. Best French 75 too. Can't wait to come back and try more things!“

“Food portions were good for the price. Got the trio cheese dip and guac were good, the salsa was ok but had kind of an odd taste. The beef burrito ingredients weren't mixed that well. First 1/3 was too much meat and dry tasting. Middle was good, them the last bit was 90% beans. Service was ok. Kind of slow to come back to my table and rarely checked in. But once I ordered the food came out quickly.“

“All of my senses were OVERWHELMED with pleasure at Criollo's Jazz Brunch! The service and food was superb Michelin level quality. The live jazz band kept me entertained as I was coursed out. The chef elevated the fried green tomatoes and chicken biscuit to an award winning level. The chicken biscuit was smothered in jalapeño's, scallions and the best rue I have ever tasted so I sent my compliments to the chef. Every delectable bite forced my eyes shut so I could deeply enjoy the freshness, flavor and texture. While I was enjoying coffee the chef sent complimentary Rosemary & Lemon Custard Madeline's. It was an innovative way to approach this classic pastry. My only critique is the custard on top was so good I wanted more. Very light, fresh, and balanced melody of flavors. The consistency was reminiscent of a fusion between a scone and puff pastry. You can tell the French invited fries by how well the fries here complimented every dish. It was such a phenomenal experience, I found myself making reservations for the next day halfway through brunch and I am happy to say the food, service and entertainment are consistently great here. The fancy French atmosphere at Hotel Monteleone was fit for a Queen and the bathroom attendant cleaned the stall prior to each guests use. This is a must try spot in The French Quarter.“

“This was a complete surreal experience. It took me nearly 5 days to sort out how to write this review. We dressed smart and to impress with unique style in a linen suit and gothic dress. From the very start I had an original and unique experience. Without selecting the table originally we were sat ring side at a table facing a full wall of glass overlooking the kitchen. Oddly only two were available and a solo diner sat at the other. I am still curious how we were luck to watch the chefs work. We then were invited back for a tour of the kitchen and a presentation of fresh selections of what would be prepared. I saw no one else get the same tour. Why we were the only ones to get that I dont know. We both chose different tasting menus. The classic and contemporary or local. Being given several more tastings ahead of the substantial dinner. Everything was beyond comparison and though the wine pairs were unique and may not be preffered on their own alone they were expertly and deliciously paired for each course. What took me 5 days to write this was to sort out what happened. Dish #5 was a pan seared rainbow trout with almonds. Tbe second I took a bite I was consumed with emotions of nostalgia. The last time I ever had anything like it was on tbe Brule River of wisconsin as a child being taught flyfishing and enjoying what we caught that day on the hidden cedar built lunchgrounds. I have never cried while eating a dish of any sort but I did over this one. I complimented tbe chef seen on the other side of the glass and he showed gratitude in return. They served us many plates before and after what was on the selected menu and the entire staff was attentive to every need and wish. I was complimented that I stood as a gentleman every time may date left or returned to the table. I was i.pressed they also took care of subtle drops or spills on the table cloth. Defitely opt for the cheese course at the end. It was a wonderful quiet evening where I could enjoy my company where as the next evening at another fancy retaurant we were seated agsinst an obnoxious loud table where I couldnt hear my friend sitting at my shoulder. I will certainly choose Emerils over any other restaurant in NO in the future.Dietary restrictions: Accomodated cilantro allergy.“

I ate a hamburger, although I cannot say it was the best hamburger I have ever eaten, I can say it is 8 out of 10. Other choices were better, everyone at the table left satisfied.“

“Grabbed a drink here on a Saturday night when everything else seemed so busy, just a short wait to get into the bar which was great on its own. Beautiful ambiance, the cocktails were delicious and not outrageously expensive, basically just normal prices for a lot of the drinks. Lovely staff, great night.“

“I found Brigtsen's About 15 years ago. I have since been there 10 times over the years on vacation. I go to all the fine dining restaurants In NOLA. No matter where I go. Brigtsen's is consistently the best meal of my trip. I just had the pork chop last week in was so delicious. This is truly one of the best restaurants in America. One of my favorite visits is when Frank is there so that I get to say hello. There are not many restaurants were a famous chef is actually there . I try to save room for the pecan pie but I'm not always successful. The menu is so good with choices I get too full. The service is also excellent. So in ending, I could go on for days, I'll just say. When your in New Orleans check out Brigtsen's. It's ok to thank me with every bite.“

“Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress barely stopped by to check on us. The food was fantastic. The charbroiled oysters were plump and meaty. The gumbo and coleslaw were both very flavorful. And the fried fish dinner was also fantastic. Is the service was anywhere near the quality of the food I would recommend 100%.“

“A beautiful venue! Gorgeous scenery. We saw alligator and a possum! ? So cute! ? Of course there's mosquitoes, it's on the bayou! ? I didn't pay for a wedding planner, because I couldn't afford it, but I HIGHLY SUGGEST, if you can afford it, to get a planner. This was my first (and only) wedding and I had no idea what was going on most of the time. Everything just kind of worked out at the last moment. The staff was very kind, the food was good, and Heide, who took our reception photos was great! She was very outgoing and had fantastic energy. Also, hire your own DJ or band. There was a switch up at the last moment and some confusion there.“
