“I have been going to this play on Sunday for 2yr. When I tell you I have meet the most friendly and lovely people. They include me in their circle, party events and etc. They even knows I drive from Mississippi to hang out and goes back home afterwards. “I was really impressed with the friendliness of service here! The bartender and the guy at the door. I came here to celebrate my birthday with a large group of friends after having an horrible experience across the street and they were able to accommodate us with room and allowed us to bring in my birthday cake. “Mid City Yacht Club is a standard neighborhood bar, except that the beer selections are a few steps above and the menu offers good to great options. Their burgers are creative and always great. The bartenders are a bit surly as can be expected but they can be won over by being pleasant and tipping well. And for the record, there are no boats, yachts, or bodies of water nearby.“

“Is a great neighborhood/dive bar. Like most neighborhood bars, it can also tend to be cliquey, but as stated before, it's also a laid-back divey bar. Most people still have zero reservation about chatting it up with a friendly or interesting face. “Not a drinker, but I came here bc of a recommendation for another local business to try their burgers. Got their regular cheeseburger and some fries. The hamburger was seasoned to perfection and the fries are just the right crinkle fries. Not too soft and not hard. The employees were very nice and got my order out quick. “First off, I like this place and recommend it. Food, service, ambience, and convenient location are excellent. Personally, I go there primarily for the GOLF SIMULATOR. The golf setup, features, and screen options are also excellent and it provides mostly good information. Perhaps the best feature is the camera which shows how the clubhead contacts the ball, e.g., middle of the face or not and whether the face is square, closing, or fanning open at impact. On the other hand, and this is why I cannot give a 5 star review, the GOLF SIMULATOR IS NOT ACCURATE. I bring my own premium golf balls. The ones provided are not always of high quality. I am a seasoned golfer who knows his distances and numbers. The simulator's distances can be way off. I don't know if the simulator is regularly calibrated. When I asked the manager about this, he had no answer. Several times, I have spoken to other golfers who had the same experience. So do go but do not expect the simulator to give accurate feedback.“

“Quickly became my go-to place for daiquiris! Great flavor variety…always tasty and perfectly strong without too harsh an alcohol flavor. The price is right, and I love the daily specials they offer. The gals bartending are always friendly and fast in the drive-thru, although I’ve personally never been inside. I will say, the drive-thru can be a bit stressful during busier times since there is not much room for a line so it can spill out onto the street. I take every out-of-town visitor here, and it’s definitely a top request when they visit again. I am moving out of River Ridge soon, but I will be making the quick drive from Metairie whenever I have a daiquiri hankering!“

“Stopped by Beachcorner last night. It was very busy and a little loud. There was a little wait for the food because it was only two gentlemen working which was totally understandable. There was one guy cooking the food and making drinks lol the great part was the customer service. These guys had a system set up and both worked well together. “Hadn't been here in years. I decided to unwind and relax after work one day last week. Glad I did! It was dart night so there was a bunch of people came in around 6:00 pm but between 5 and 6 pm it was rather quiet and we had a pizza and cheese sticks. Both food items were really good. The owner and his son were very nice. Had a good time and look forward to going back for drinks, food and good company!“

“I’ve been to this spot a few times now so I think it’s about time to talk about it. ToV is one of those spots that I tend to love because it’s just like a locals type dive bar-ish spot with good food at good prices and cold drinks. They play all the sports on TV’s all around the bar and they have a pool table and three dart boards.I’ve had three different burgers in my three trips in but I’ve also tried bites of the ribeye wrap, fresh tuna, pork chop, loaded tater tots, etc. Everything I tried was good at the very least, most things very good. If you’re looking for flashy or upscale dining though…go somewhere else. This is just real food by real people done well.The one criticism I will leave is that they would greatly benefit from a better roll for the burgers. I enjoy them cooked medium rare - medium and if you don’t eat them quickly the bun will start to deteriorate. “We were looking for a place to hang out at and play pool with our kids and this was a great find. Loved that they had a juke box with digital request available on an app. Drinks were great. Started off the like a ghost town but as the night came more people came through. Plenty of tables to play on and my family loved the ping pong table. So much so we are looking to invest in one ourselves.“
