“I had the Bangkok Shrimp. I believe the dish is new to the menu. Not only is it pleasantly plated, but it is also very delicious down to the crispy crunch wonton bowl in which it is served. The shrimp are large and plentiful. You will not be disappointed. This is a four star dish for sure!”

“When Ba Chi Canteen closed I was so sad, and made sure I visited Ba Chi Kitchen before I left NoLa this time!! I made a late night to-go order that I ordered several hours ahead, and the food was fresh and delicious. I was also met with the sweetest girl (I didn’t catch her name), and she was so sweet and friendly even though my order was scheduled 15 mins before close. They have my favorite bao in the city, I had the ba chi bacos and the bbq pork baco and they were just what I was looking for. Also, I’ve never had crispy gyoza before here and it’s probably my favorite menu item!”

“This little hidden gem has the best combo bang mi in the city! The seafood soup is sometimes the best depending on the day. But really I have a defined palette and am a harsh critic when it comes to food having spent 30 plus years in feeding high end palettes and traveling abroad. This is the best banh mi locally!”

I’m always passing this restaurant and had wanted to try it.Lately my son and I have been trying new restaurants so we decided to stop in. He had combination Pho and a Winter Melon drink that taste and smell like they pour a lot of maple syrup into milk and coffee and I had beef pho, chicken banh mi, and a Lemonade club soda. I added sriracha to my pho to make it spicy and the lemonade was really good.The price was reasonable and the food was good, I’ll definitely be going back.Parking: Parking is just off Airline highway and has decent parkingKid-friendliness: No restrictions or bars”

We live on the northshore and had to go to the southshore for something and instead of stopping at Starbucks, we wanted to try something new! Definitely recommend. “We loved this place. The food was delicious and we had the most wonderful waitress. The atmosphere was so pleasant. We ordered a lot of food, we had the giant platter, which we were able to customize and have it charbroiled - the catfish was amazing- soft shell crabs were so good. along with a dozen oysters, crawfish, 4 hard shell crabs, my toddler had the chicken which was so yummy.. bacon wrapped shrimp and the potatoes were heaven.. totally recommend this place.. the total was $275 but worth every cent!”

“I've been to loft 18 multiple times before, but when I started coming to Trivia Wednesdays I found a reason to return every Wednesday. I had the most wonderful waitress I've ever had wait on me at any bar or restaurant in my entire life. Her name is Angelle and she deserves a raise. She remembers my drink orders and gives the most amazing entree recommendations. Anytime my drink gets close to being empty there she is asking if I'd like another. When i finish my food she is right there ready to clear my table to make room for trivia sheets. Angelle is perfection in waitress form!!! I may come for Trivia, but I return every week because of your wonderful employee Angelle!!!”

“This place is the jam! So happy to have experienced delicious high quality Thai food in the city. Ive been on a mission to find a good Thai go to, and this may be it! The drunken noodles were some of the best ive had and the salad dressing should be bottled and sold, so yummy and peppery. My only complaint was the service, it wasn't horrible but i had to get up twice to find the waitress to ask for things. I was one of two tables so that's hard to accept. Saying that, the food was incredible and the chef came out and was adorable and very warm. “Came here for a late dinner on a Thursday night and the service was quick and friendly. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap for take-out and it came piping hot, with ingredients that were incredibly fresh and delicious! I was a little disappointed with the size of the wrap (very small), but I'd still come back here :)”

“My husband and I have gone to Furys for years. One of our favorites. Burger is one of the best servers. He is polite and always has a smile. The food is excellent. All the staff are tops. Squally in the kitchen is the best. Highly recommend trying them.”

“The food taste great. What isn’t great is the price you pay for the meals when it doesn’t come with rice and beans. It’s considered a side item and you only get two. So not worth the price unless you have money to spend or it’s a special dinner. Picture on online ordering is misleading with the dinner plate. You think it’s already coming with the rice and or beans. Had my friend crying because she thought she was getting that with her meal for the amount she paid.”

“I have passed this restaurant a few times and always wanted to try it. Last night I finally did. I was fist very impressed with the staff, everyone was so friendly and attentive(rare these days). I am Italian, so it is hard to find a place that is better than grandma’s home cooking, as well as my own. I must say, we ordered the Italian salad, chicken and Alfredo, the chicken parm and the filet. Hats OFF to the Chef!!!! Not to mention, the amount of food for the price was amazing, no room for dessert and lots of leftovers. Will visit again and bring the family.”

“don't go here unless you want to sit and wait for over. hr to still not even get your food. and then you get threatened by the staff. horrible service We arrived at this location at 1230. The restaurant was empty it. Took 10 mins before we were even sat at a table. Then another 20 mins before the waiter came and took our order. We waited another 10 mins asked for our drinks and the waiter has a smart comment ( wait and see how long it takes you to get your drinks now since we asked for them) then another waiter came up and had to take the whole order again since the first one never put it in the system. We sat there for a whole hr and other customers amd in and received there food and left before we even got ours. After a hr I asked the waitress about out food and she told me another 30 mins. I don't understand why I have to wait over a hr and a half to get food at 1 am when the restaurant was empty. Pluss when we told her to cancel the order the first waiter started laughing and threatening us.”

We were shorted one oyster, and at the price they charge, that's a big deal. When we called it to their attention, they graciously brought us the one we were missing plus one extra. All in all we had a great experience. Our waiter was top notch, thr atmosphere great, and Bryon was a delight to visit with.”

“Awesome experience at NolaKorea. First time my family have ever been to a Korean restaurant. Went because my daughter wanted to try Korean food for her birthday dinner. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. I had the dolsot-bibimbap which was superb. My wife had the chicken-galbi which was wonderful. My son and daughter-in-law had the ramen which they were very satisfied with. My daughter had the bibimbap which she loved and my other daughter had the beef-bulgogi which she raved about.The service was great. It is a very small place and very busy. The one server was on top of everything and very accomodating. It's not a flashy place, but the food is what takes center stage. Excellent place. I highly recommend.”

Everything was so good, especially the soup and surprisingly the cucumbers (my husband doesn't even like cucumbers but enjoyed these). Especially considering the price, this was a really nice lunch. Service was pretty quick here! But also be aware, this is not a place to bring a large group to. It is tiny and can really only seat like 2-4 at a time, maybe 5 if you don't need the elbow room. Definitely better for a quick lunch date than a group meal.”

Everything I tried from the menu was exemplary, the staff is super-friendly and fast, and the location provides a clean/relaxing atmosphere to enjoy their food. It was less than 2 miles from my house, and apparently I had driven past it many times without knowing it was there. Reviews were excellent, so I jumped in the car and drove there. Funky little place. But great vibe. Nice 5 person bar, maybe 7 tables inside. I ordered the boiled shrimp to go. A pound of headless boiled shrimp for $13. The gentleman that took my order was attentive, but also perfectly funky. I can see why some people might find him off putting. I didn't. Shrimp came out in less than 5 minutes. The shrimp were some of the best I have ever had. They were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend. And I will be headed back this week. Check it out.”

And the fact that no keyholder or shift came to help the first guy kinda made me kinda disappointed. They didn’t even try to provide a good experience and was simply chit chatting or what not. I will give credit that when I told them I asked for no drink- the guy knew right away I didn’t want the lemonade but since I didn’t wanna hold up the drive thru I just told them I’ll take a water bottle…. So then when I drive off I noticed I didn’t get my extra toast nor the coleslaw ?☹️.I work at a drive-thru/food service and it was just very distasteful to me. “I got the Chicken Katsu Banh Mi. I asked for the hoisin sauce to go along, but after taking the first bite without sauce, I saw that it didn't need the sauce at all. It was great without it. This sandwich is topped with Tokatsu sauce, Japanese kewpie mayo, and Furikake seasoning. These are Japanese ingredients, so this is a Vietnamese sandwich version of a Japanese dish. A Japanese Banhi MI in a way. And it was really good. The fried chicken on this sandwich is just as any Japanese fried chicken I've had before. I really recommend this sandwich and I very much look forward to taking another visit to Banh Mi Boys, because if this sandwich was that tasty, then I am sure the others have a lot to offer as well. “I finally decided to stop in and try the food here. The sign out front made me curious. What exactly is eggplant gravy? Smoking area in a covered area in front of the bar. This is exactly the kind of place I would frequent when I was drinking. A kind of hole in the wall place with working class clientele. I didn't work up the nerve to ask about the eggplant gravy. I did order the bacon cheeseburger, fully dressed and fries. It was pretty darn good. Friendly employees. There are gambling machines, a dartboard, one of those claw machines, a shuffleboard. There were several televisions on and all playing different sports balls games. The parking lot is kind of tricky. If you park in front, the only way out is via Causeway just south of Veterans where the traffic is all together to filter back on Causeway, or the service road and I-10. So be aware of your surroundings.”

“Not a drinker, but I came here bc of a recommendation for another local business to try their burgers. Got their regular cheeseburger and some fries. The hamburger was seasoned to perfection and the fries are just the right crinkle fries. Not too soft and not hard. The employees were very nice and got my order out quick. I did see a bunch of people that came for drinks and to hangout so I can imagine people like coming for the atmosphere. Come check it out.”

“Now..I had been driving to Veterans for my quick fix although I stay closer to THIS location and the one near the movies. However, the weather was bad on 4-10-24, so I decided on this location and omg, this is the spiciest Popeyes chicken that I’ve tasted in YEARS, literally. The lady (I believe is older) on the headset was very kind..greeted me and was chipper. This was approx @ 10A! The younger person at the window wasn’t as pleasant but based on the other lady’s customer service and professionalism, I may return.”

“There's quite a few options to choose from when buying pizza and if you like Domino's I would recommend this dominos establishment. I've been here every once in a while and the people are always friendly, professional, and my food is prepared exactly how I want it. My only critique of this place is probably the amount of parking spots and overall size of the Domino's on David Dr. But besides size of the Domino's, it's a place I would recommend if you live near David Dr and would like Domino's.”

“Friends told me about this place so I stopped by for lunch. Background: The name comes from the fact this area was once the location of pig farms. The owners have a second place in Mid City that another guest at Hog's Alley told me has great food, too. The menu is sort of small but very diverse. I had the fried shrimp basket and I'm a bit of a snob on fried shrimp. These were delicious. Excellent batter, tasty, and no iodine flavor at all. The jalapeno hush puppies were equally excellent. Fries were good but I can do without fries. Jaimie the bartender/server was friendly and very helpful. Not many people at 1 on Sunday but that didn't bother me. I'll go back.”

“don't go here unless you want to sit and wait for over. hr to still not even get your food. and then you get threatened by the staff. horrible service We arrived at this location at 1230. The restaurant was empty it. Took 10 mins before we were even sat at a table. Then another 20 mins before the waiter came and took our order. We waited another 10 mins asked for our drinks and the waiter has a smart comment ( wait and see how long it takes you to get your drinks now since we asked for them) then another waiter came up and had to take the whole order again since the first one never put it in the system. We sat there for a whole hr and other customers amd in and received there food and left before we even got ours. After a hr I asked the waitress about out food and she told me another 30 mins. I don't understand why I have to wait over a hr and a half to get food at 1 am when the restaurant was empty. Pluss when we told her to cancel the order the first waiter started laughing and threatening us.”
