“The Chamber of Horrors is my absolute favorite sandwich ever! It's just a cold sandwich stacked with sliced meats and cheese and lettuce, tomato, etc. but it strikes a chord with me. Every time I go I tell myself to try something different but most times I wind up getting one. And a side of fries. I have tried other things and have never found anything to complain about. Koz's is a great example of the neighborhood restaurants that are scattered throughout New Orleans and the area. Place has been there forever. The family is running the business. He has passed away, but Koz himself was running the cash register every time I went there. Same crowd of regulars and locals is in there every day. A wide variety of menu items, daily specials, plate lunches, po-boys, fried seafood, and all that. Not all of it is good, but for the most part it is. Downsides - the place is old so it is a little dark and dingy. It gets crowded at times and then the service gets slow. The parking is scarce around but you can usually find a spot. Give them a shot. This is one place that I keep going back to. (If I want a Chamber of Horrors I do!)“

I was $1.00 dollar short on cash to pay and was going to use my debit card but the cashier put up the dollar and refused to let me bring it back; she told me she was happy to do it and do not block her blessings. Truly appreciative of what she did and plan to go back. Everyone was friendly.“
