The Four Seasons & Den Patio Bar Gay Bar • $
3229 N Causeway Blvd, Metairie

“If you are looking for a fun place in Metairie to go this is it. Great atmosphere and the patio is a nice place to hangout. The drinks are reasonably priced compared to the French quarter. The drag shows are a lot of fun and bingo “Flamingo” on Fridays are a blast! The owners are extremely friendly and have done a great job in enhancing the atmosphere.“

“Great LGBTQ+ friendly bar. Friendly staff. Karaoke is a bit loud for my taste. The karaoke MC position needs new blood in my opinion. Just too loud and crass. Needs new auto tune technology. But everything else great. Beautiful and classy up grade from the old Double Play.“

Sunday Funday

“We made this place a stop on our celebration of my youngest's 21st birthday pub crawl, and enjoyed our visit and drinks! We went upstairs where we could toss some beads from the balcony and had a great drink and chat with the bartender, who gave us some good ideas on other places to visit. Everyone was friendly, the place felt clean, and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for being part of our evening!“

“Bartender from small town in Texas wearing cowboy hat was the reason we came in. He’s so nice and cool. Makes drinks well. Great to talk to. Very intelligent and caring. Wife and I enjoyed chatting with him. We ordered more so we could stay longer and tip higher. Cash only-AtM inside. Small bar but it’s amazing how many fresh ingredients he has at bar. Very pleased with experience.“

“We were visiting New Orleans, and on one of our adventures, the driver recommended Good Friends Bar for their speciality drink, the separator. We decided to go check it out. Loved the atmosphere, the server was very nice, I wish I had caught his name, and the separator was delicious ? . This was our last night in New Orleans, so we went back after dinner to have another. Definitely a place to visit.“

The Page Bar Gay Bar • $$
542 N Rampart St, New Orleans - 5.3 miles

“Walked into this dive to meet a class of tour guides to explore the Quarter. The Christmas music was blaring as I walked in, and one of the regulars was belting out the song better than Mariah Carey. There was one bartender and just a handful of others that night, but it was a random Wednesday in December, so I wouldn't have expected too much at that early-ish hour. Once we all got there and had ordered a couple of drinks, we were able to meet the bar manager/owner who told us the history of the building and all of its incantations before becoming what it currently is. It was fascinating to hear about the 300 years of evolution that the building has gone through, and the staff there was so much fun to talk to and learn from. Also, as I would hope for most dives - the drinks were strong and plentiful. It was a great way to start out our evening.“

Oz New Orleans Gay Bar • $
800 Bourbon St, New Orleans - 5.54 miles

“Local musician from Asheville, North Carolina here. Was traveling back from SXSW Music Festival in Austin Texas and the crew wanted to stop by New Orleans on the way back north. As a first time experience to not only Bourbon Street, but New Orleans in general, I was blown away. This bar was the first we stepped into because of the incredible music and energy. Everyone was super friendly (not just the staff, it felt like a house party your best friend told you to show up to). The entire experience was beyond memorable. I wish they paid me to write this review, but I wanted to tell everyone about it. If you come to Bourbon Street, please ask for Lance, since they were the first to greet us and show us around the bar and introduce us to the energy of New Orleans. This human (Lance) is a part of the soul of New Orleans and I highly recommend asking them everything about your needs and expectations for the city life.Even writing this makes me want to go back. I'll be back soon and I hope anyone who visits New Orleans and wants to experience freedom and love to it's fullest extent visits this bar (more like ballroom with a wonderful sound system and chandeliers).Much love, travelers! And tell Lance that Davie G of Asheville said hello!Kid-friendliness: The staff is more than happy to accommodate any questions regarding your children's needs, but this bar is definitely more an adult-leaning energy.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level and plenty of room! Super friendly staff that will help too.“

“Good drinks, good looking men and a friendly staff. We were there Omer Southern Decedents weekend. It was packed! Talked and met a lot of nice men from all over the country. Both door men were terrific. Making sure that all patrons were safe. A twink tried to slip the door man $20 to get upstairs without waiting in line. It did not work. It told the guy to take it back or he was going to drop in on the ground. All types of men.“
