The food was like what you would get at a first class Nola Restaurant on a more doable scale. Also the view of Lake Ponchartrain from the park close by at sunset was lovely. Food was great, server was attentive. The host, however sucked. Gave our names, ordered drinks and waited. Well, they crossed us off the waiting list somehow and dont know what happen. At least when i told them after 45minutes of waiting, they immedietly gave us the next table.

This is one of the best meals I've ever had. First thing I noticed is that there's nothing on the table no salt,no pepper and no hot sauce. I thought it odd. The appetizers were good. I had the gulf seafood it was a drum filet on a bed of green beans with a family sauce. It was perfect. The fish was cooked to perfection the green beans perfect and the sauce was heavenly. I finished and looked at the table and realized that the meal was so great salt, pepper or anything else would be an insult to the food. The others around the table had gumbo, salmon tacos and a wedge salad. They loved their meals also.Parking: I Will be asking for a slice of bread like the one that came with the gumbo to soak up the left over sauce.Kid-friendliness: There were kids but why waste a great meal like this on a kid

Worst dining possibly ever and should’ve walked out. Environment is loud and pretentious. “Spinach dip” was disgusting and unacceptable, worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth and I’ve eaten cow tripe soup. Expensive as HELL. Never going back. Another night of money being thrown away.

Don't let the casual name fool you. At first glance, one may think this is a sport's bar that sells wings and sliders. However, you'll quickly realize that this place serves up what would be close to fine dining in a small, quaint setting. They also offer outdoor seating with large heaters! Onward to food... I ordered the sizzling garlic shrimp for my appetizer. This was delicious. It arrived at our table still bubbling hot and sizzling per the name. The shrimp were so decadent and plump. The flavor profile was light but buttery and savory. I'm not even a shrimp lover but I would 100% get this again. For my entree, I had the special of the day, which was flounder with mashed potatoes, Brussels, crawfish sauce, and onion strings. Honestly, the waiter had a better description than what I am writing. Nonetheless, it was delicious!!!! It was so easy to eat and everything paired well with a glass of white wine. The seafood was so fresh tasting, which made for an even greater experience. My best friend also enjoyed her food! Overall, I highly recommend. Super cute for a date night and/or just a chill, quality dinner. The service was great and actually pretty fast. The menu is on the shorter side and mostly consists of seafood. Prices are $$-$$$.

Absolutely amazing food and service! They have a different smoked fish dip, soup and feature everyday. The chef makes some wildly different and delicious combos. Keith was our server and he was fantastic! Will definitely be back.

This restaurant was buzzing at 3pm on a Saturday and I get it. The salmon tacos were delicious. The fried oysters were crispy and fresh. The gumbo was crabby and a jet lagged little kids day was salvaged with a secret kids menu of chicken fingers and fries that were above par.
