World class. We don't just hand out 5 stars, but this place is truly exceptional. Some of the most creative and freshest raw food combinations in the world. The service is top notch also.

What an exceptional Japanese restaurant about 45 steps from the front door of the Marriott. I decided to sit at the bar and Chris and Jada were awesome people to enjoy the evening with. I tried the Agedashi Tofu and Bao Porkbelly Bun appetizers. Both were very good. The star of the meal was the Bluefin Tuna Flight. Excellent, high-quality nigiri finished at Michelin-star precision. The 3 different levels of fat in the three tuna was such a unique experience. I also tried the butterfish at the bartender's recommendation. It's pricy, but well worth it. Hostess and all staff were friendly and polite. Great atmosphere with sports on 3 TV's over the bar.

I can only speak to the vegetarian options on the menu (which there were actually many of!) My party of 8 had about every single thing on the menu and all of it was great. As a vegetarian, I had the spicy edamame which was delicious but a little cold and the tamago sando. I think if you like sweet egg salads, you'll enjoy this sandwich but it was particularly sweet for me. Finally, we had the pandan cake? I cannot remember the name of it but that was delicious and a big hit for everyone!

Nice little sushi place. Pricey for the portions. Portions are very small, the presentation on the sushi was plain. Single sushi orders had a better presentation. The rice bowls had a good portion and presentation. Everything we tried was very good. The spicy sushi we tried was not at all spicy but was good. The salmon belly was really good and I recommend this highly. I was not highly impressed with the whole experience because I left hungry and would not return here for a second trip. The sushi portions are very small.

Fantastic restaurant, the highest quality and cuts of sushi in the gulf south. When visiting New Orleans you can't miss it. Don't forget to try the chicken sandwich, ask for it cut into fours so you can share with your table.

Got to say, my first experience was absolutely fantastic. So before I wrote this review I figured I would make multiple visits. Many places will lower their standard after they capture a crowd. Not Yakuza... Amazes me every time. The service and food is absolutely spectacular. A must visit when in the area. Just like you will return as often as possible.

Yakusa is one of the best places to get sushi in the GNO. The pricing may be a little high, but it is well worth the price for the quality and taste. Our server was wonderful and spot-on with her recommendations.

My last visit was a couple months ago I did a Google review, but do another one here because why not? My step dad and I were going on a shopping trip. We decided to stop by this place to dine in. This is the first time we came here. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and not crowded. Also, I'd love to say Theresa P. was absolutely incredible, she was very kind and patient. She has answered all of questions with a smile. We ordered a good bit of food and everything is terrific! It's a tough call, but I got to say Karaage is probably my favorite item on the menu. Overall probably one of my new favorite restaurants with one of the best service. I will be back for sure!

Yakuza House2740 Severn Ave, Metairie, LA 70002The last time I came to Yakuza House was at the smaller location, which was years ago. As I recalled before, the food is still astronomically delicious!
