We came here for lunch around 2pm-ish. The service was very good that the staff was willing to explain the menu and answer questions, and they also refilled the bread when we asked more for the oyster dish. It’s on the pricier side for the portion of the food. Some dishes were great (e.g., grilled oyster, fried alligator, boudin balls, pineapple upside down cake) while others were so-so (e.g., mixed green salad and summer berry cobbler, cider).

Excellent meal all-around. The service was so friendly and the atmosphere was really relaxed. We had the alligator, fried softshell crab, cochon, and pineapple upside down cake. It was all phenomenal and the gator is a must-have.
