FIVE STARS! Pepp's is great place! Bartenders and the owner are all friendly and welcoming. There are always dogs to pet. We really enjoy the excellent drinks and bourbon selection, but it's really a no-frills neighborhood bar, so we usually have a beer and a shot. It's one of favorite places in all of NO, and we try to visit at least once each time we come down. Though it’s a locals bar and we are definitely tourists, we have never been treated as outsiders, not once, not even for a moment. The warm, familiar welcome from staff and regulars is the best! Just a great place, all around. Try the Malort. It's awful, but it's a great experience. Say hello to Pepper when you visit!
